Guest guest
Rob, When you say canker sores do you mean the herpes that shows up on the facial skin (sun blisters and sometimes called cold sores)or inside on the walls of your mouth (called cold sores)? If onthe outside it's cause by a herpes virus that needs a blood detox to get rid of it. I've gotten rid of 90% of mine and I only got it when seriously stressed and I had to be doing 2 things while I was stressed: Eati' sugar and smoking, though I think sugar on it's own will activate if if seriously stressed. The inside wall ones (also known as cold sores)are caused by too much sugar and not enough vitamin C. L-Lisine and Vit. C. will help so that your body will stop getting them for the time being but again you need to change diet. The body is simply overloaded and warns you by using other areas to secrete toxins out of the body. I hate these both and have gone on a huge dietary change simply to handle them and found that there were other things that the dietary change improved. Get Docs tape, it's free. Guest guest
Zeb.. when i was a child i remember having a sore in side my mouth on the wall of my cheek that was like a deep, raw hole with white edges. very sore, and raw and sensitive and momma had me wash my mouth frequently with salt water and it cleared up pretty fast after I started the salt rinse. i think they called it a 'canker sore.' haven't had one since. it wasn't anthing like a cold sore/fever blister/herpes. love.. granny lee - zeblet01 herbal remedies Tuesday, April 20, 2004 3:45 PM Herbal Remedies - Re: canker sores Rob, When you say canker sores do you mean the herpes that shows up on the facial skin (sun blisters and sometimes called cold sores)or inside on the walls of your mouth (called cold sores)? Guest guest
Sugar and Stress are common triggers for Cold or Canker sores and they are viral; Stress can include a compromised immune system. Many people get them just prior to or during a bad cold or some when they have just gone thru a bad stress time. What I have found works really well is cleaning with Hydrogen Peroxide and then applying some tea tree. TT would beef up your ability to deal with the virus. Also amino acid Lysine or tyrosine, sorry cant remember which, i tried that before but really found that keeping the sores as clean and dry as possible was the best method for quick healing. I havent had one in over a year, which coincides with the improved diet and immunity. so i would focus on the immunity for best healing. She used to buy an over the counter product to treat it, after trying a perscription that did nothing. The OTC worked a little better, but not great. Guest guest
That's interesting. I only had the canker in my cheek wall once in my life when i was a child, and don't remember what could have led up to it. The only time i get a break out of herpes on my lip is if i get bone cold and it seems to try to come out of dormancy and grow. been several years since that happened, but when it did/dose, i just break the tiny blister, before it gets an advantage , with aloe jell (fresh from my plant) and it dries up almost immediately. even finally got my childen and grand children using it when they need it! one of my grandsons was particularly amazed and is now a true believer. Most often by antibiotics or very large doses of Vitamin C, to cure a cold or flu. Use buttermilk, Kefir, or any fermented milk product. Also, you can get Lactobacillus Acidophillus from any pharmacist, no prescription required. Chew up a couple of tabs every couple of hours during the day. The lesions on your lips are type 2 herpes, viral in nature. They produce spores that hide in the body and usually you have them for life when you get tiem. I have used L-lysine, 5 to 10 grams daily, with the same amount of vit C. This is Dr. Linus Paulings cure for angina and to open up the arteries. Also don't get the fever blisters when I'm on it. There was a Doctor, (can't remember who, but was on the radio some years ago who used BHT to cure genetal herpes. I have used it sucessfully for the fever blisters(that's the ones on your lips on the outside) Do your own research, BHT is a preservative, and many people won't use it. It is used to preserve all kinds of oils, including mayonaise, I have never had any problem with it. Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Guest guest
I got it out of the files section. It really is fantastic. A girl I work with uses what I give her on her feet at night, to moderate the chapping and splitting of her feet after a long day at work, and on her lips for healing of chapped lips.
