Thanks again for all the wonderful candle suggestions.

Hannah is taking her candles and returning home

to Lakeland, Co. in the morning.

Here is the rest of the story, Bonnie, Hannah's mother

is terminally with cancer. She has days left here on the

earth plane.

Hannah wanted to make candles to light her mother's way to

" heaven's staircase " . (Hannah is 10, and very clear about what

she wanted to do.)

We made some soy candle's, in soft earth tones, some with no scent,

some with lavender, some with rosemary.

We also made beeswax votives and container candles,

some with no scent, some with sandalwood, cedar & jasmine, some

with lavender.

I have to admit the no scent in both cases were due to my concern

that scented candles might be to much during this time of transition,

as I have noted in some cases people's heighten senses seem to

change our perception of what is pleasant.

Hannah wanted to be sure I " thanked all of the nice people "

who helped us complete her project. I too, want to thank

all the nice people who helped point us in the right direction.

While I am sure Bonnie would not have cared how they burned

or how they looked, Hannah did and tomorrow night she will

celebrate Christmas with her mom & dad for the last time as a family.

I will be lighting candles for them too.

Thank you all very much for helping me make one little girl

a little happier at a sad time.

Janet

So glad to have helped. My heart goes out to her, she is a stronger person than me. I lost my mother and father this spring to long illnesses, and I could not have done what she is doing.
