Guest guest
Fabian, Taro potato is used as an external poultice for tumors... it helps to pull things closer to the surface (skin) of the body. It does not kill or cure cancer but may in some instances allow the tumor to be expelled through the skin. If your wife was taking oleander and IP6 please tell here to continue with it and to not stop taking it. It takes many weeks and even months to rid the body of tumors. Good luck. Guest guest
Bob, Do you use it in its raw form or dried? I've never seen it here fresh but have some vague memories from my Thai cooking lessons years ago. Seems if I remember correctly it was used in something like deep-fried chips or cakes. Would love to hear more about this or if you have some reputable websites or books, please share. This is a new one for me! I have a book with 350 cancer cures and this one isn't in it. Of course neither are a lot of other good things. Guest guest
Sharon, Taro potato is used in its fresh form medicinally. It is sold is some health food stores or Japanese food stores. It is an old Japanese remedy but it isn't a cure for cancer. Bob - <energy_now <oleander soup > Thursday, August 07, 2008 10:27 PM Re: Taro potato > Bob, > > Do you use it in its raw form or dried? Guest guest
Just for your general information: Taro can be found in Latin Stores. I have seen it in some Asian Markets also. I have been eating this Root Vegetable all my life and it is a typical part of Hispanic (almost daily) diet everywhere. In my household, we only eat it boiled, but can be grated and added to stews. It is very delicious. I don't think I would ingest it raw, just because it may not taste good, but it will not kill you if you do. It would probably be like eating raw potatoes with a stronger taste to it. Jose
