Guest guest
Oops, red flags every where in this last post for me...sounds JUST like my ten year old daughter. From the time she was about four or five months old until just about a year ago...she had what the MDs coined Infectious Asthma. Every time she got sick with anything she had severe asthma attacks. Clarification: When we first moved here six years ago (from Ga to In), she quit having the real severe attacks where we had to main line solumedrol (sp?) before the attack would stop. But, at the change of the seasons I'd have to give her one or two treatments. She was bad about ear infections, upper respiratory infections, etc. They put her on albuterol with the nebulizer machine since she was too little to huff the hand held puffer. Then, she was diagnosed with ADHD. And, they put her on Adderall. I got sick and tired of all this mess. With other things combined, I went a hunting on the internet one day and found this list.... I took sugar and kool aid away completely. And, absolutely no milk...for a couple of months. It was hard at first, but now she hardly ever WANTS those things...so it was worth it. The end result? She hasn't been to the doctor or had a breathing treatment since. There is loads of info on this in the archives and in the files...which explains it in better detail than I can... I also took away plain water...well, actually that poison that comes out of a faucet. Now, we only use Reverse Osmosis to drink, cook, make ice, and even water my plants with. I have really seen the difference in little head aches here and there and the morning sore throat that causes them not to want to get up and go...no more unexplained belly aches. Total Tonic (in the files) is nature's antibiotic... Panther Piss (in the files) is also a natural acid/alkaline balancer. Angel All incoming and outgoing scanned with NAV (and now AVG) for both our protection. - cswpil herbal remedies Thursday, October 02, 2003 3:51 PM [herbal remedies] Re: Ear Wax problem He has a pretty good diet Eats very little meat but gets plenty of proteinDrinks milk only with breakfast cereals We are not vegetarians but he eats like the vegetarians who eat eggs and dairy only (cant remember what kind of vegetarian that is)Drinks juice and kool-aid (read only refined sugar he gets on a regular basis) and teas with natural honey for sweeteningNo meds unless he has a asthma attack (has not had one in 2 years) then he uses his abuterol (sp) inhaler

We have some, and I've been using it on my 5 (6 this month) year old son who has ear wax problems. Guest guest
I use the peroxide on occasion, but I read that if you use it too often it can dry out your eardrums. > > My 8 ½ almost 9-year-old son has wax built up we clean out his ears > > on Saturday and by Wednesday; they are full of wax again. Guest guest
My son used to get alot of wax build up. I use a water pic (it's really for teeth) but works great. Use warm warm and once the wax softens you see it flow right out. I bought it in WalMart. Gina : )

Guest guest
Kelli, LGD Livestock guard dog... ok start giving her a dose of TT in am and pm - and using the ear drops... or take a bit of olive oil or grapeseed oil and add some Tea tree oil and lavender essential oil... and after wiping out her ear, swab it with this.. but the TT is an antibiotic (total tonic).. so it's a must to get that in her... if you have to add it to some broth and syringe it into her mouth.. to get it down. OK GROUP... WE NEED SOME MORE HELP HERE IF YOU'VE HAD THIS SITUATION AND KNOW OF A REMEDY. What kind of or brand or you feeding? Add some raw meat to her meals.. get her some raw bones from the butcher shop Suzi suziKelli Bever <kelli wrote: Hi Suzi,Thanks for the reply! Guest guest
Hi Kelli, I feed my lab/chow mix the foods from Flint River Ranch. They are far and away better than other commercial dog foods. They are all made with human grade ingredients with zero crap. No feet, no beaks, no feathers... you get the idea. Their adult DryWater product smells so good it makes me jealous. You can go to your favorite search engine and have it search for Flint River Ranch. Their main facility is in Riverside and they have many distributors around the country. Most vets are pushers for Science Diet which is one of the worst dog foods in the world. As to your puppies ears, I think I'd put several drops a day of lukewarm aloe vera juice into her ears and use q-tips or cotton to cover the areas that have been severely damaged and bleeding with the juice. You can get organic Aloe Vera juice in the pharmacy section of Walmart. A gallon of it goes for about $6 there or $4 at a Sam's club. Ear problems can be caused by allergies too. This could well be a food allergy. The only way you will find out is to move her from food to food. Remember not to change an animals diet suddenly. Do it gradually over a week to 10 days and give each one a couple of weeks to a month to see how it does. I think another thing I'd do is change vets as I consider his answer about the ear wax to be a non-answer and insulting. One thing I wonder about is this - do her ears have any odor if you put your nose near them and smell them? If you need more assistance, you can email me off list if you want.
