Guest guest
There are some really good " human-grade " quality pet foods available. Innova is one of them and if you will go to www.naturapet.com you will find under " Tools " a comparison chart. Not all are good foods, but it will give you comparisons and why they are not good foods. Also, under Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)in that site, it will tell you about " human-grade " quality foods. I make my own dog food from a balanced recipe because of allergy and health issues, but buy (have to order them) human-grade quality cat food. It isn't cheap, but I have far less health issues with it than feeding commercial pet food. Donetta
Guest guest
Another really great human grade dog and cat food is Wellness food. When I first bought the product for my cat, my partner was sitting at the table reading the ingredients in the brouchure and without realizing it was pet food, said... " we ought to be eating this " ! I also give my cat raw liver almost every day... he's 15 years old.. and I've never had to take him to the vet... he still runs around the yard and house like a kitten. By the way, this is my first post to the list.. I've been so busy reading the great information here that I haven't had time to actually say anything! thank you all so much for your wonderfully informative posts.
