Hi Dani,

I count it a pleasure. I have a complete list of herbs

and vitamins for breast cancer around in some of my files.

I should send it on, however just off the top of my head

I do recall that " red clover " is one of the

very best, followed by dandelion which was already mentioned. (red clover is an

old Indian remedy for breast cancer, the Indian women swore by it,

and always received their healing without even questioning whether it was

effective or not). Rene Caisse working with Ted Kennedy's physican was one of

the pioneers who brought the cure

to the white women) Now if big pharma would just step out of the way

perhaps our fabulous women could receive their healing.

She has a canadian website with some astounding testimonials which

we can browse through.

http://www.essiacinfo.org/index.html

There are so many ways one can use herbal dandelion, in salads, in

teas, as a coffee substitute (dandelion coffee) in stirfries with

sesame oil, etc. If you gather your own be careful to obtain only

those from unsprayed fields. Also I would like to mention here that

several parts of the plant are beneficial... both the leaves and

roots are good, the product will specify

which you are getting. Both roots and leaves are used in tea form...

the leaves being best for candida, UTI's and bladder infection.

The root is a fabulous liver cleanser and blood tonic which also

helps to keep cholesterol levels stable (very important for optimum

health and defeating cancer)

Another timely tip which I would like to mention is to include

mushrooms in your daily diet, even if they're not the gourmet

varieties, they work just as well.

Mushrooms build up immune defenses which is especially

important with cancer, regardless of the type really!

The action of mushrooms on the immune sytem is close to miraculous.

Selenium, although not really classified as a herb is another great

way to send those cancer cells into remission, and the good news is

that you can derive it from both foods and quality supplements. 200 mcgs, at

least in supplemental form.

Nuts (brazils) are the best source for selenium, although organic eggs are good

as well. Nuts and seeds are a very important part of the healing diet. Pumpkin

seeds are good specifically for hormonal related cancers, that is, if you can

find them without unhealthy oils included

(cottonseed, soy, and canola oil are genetically engineered so you

don't want to take in any of those at this time)

For a speedy remission try hyssop tea! Hyssop speeds up the removal

of toxins, don't ask me how! :-) Whenver I feel really 'blah', I

drink a cup with licorice or cardamom tea and it always works. God

knows how many toxic fumes, etc, we take in everyday without even

realizing it, so I especially wanted to mention that.

There is so much more to be said for diet and lifestyle, however it

is beyond the scope of just one message.

My prayers are with you!

Kind regards,

JoAnn

Just wanted to let you know that I am also filing all your words

of wisdom - not only for myself, but for a new friend that has

had her cancer come back after 14 years in remission - thank you

so much for sharing this information so freely!!

Is there a particular place that you would recommend buying these

herbs from? that's also a confusing subject :-)

Blessings,

Pam

Hi Pam,

This is dependent of course on which type of herbs you wish to

use. There are sites which sell mainly crude herbs in their natural

form (which I believe are most effective of all).

I think that enzymatic therapy is one of the best sites for

supplement quality.

www.enzy.com

I personally take a lot of Standard Process supplements which can

be obtained from alternative therapists (usually found in the back

of better health food stores, never on the shelves, you have to

request them usually unless you are having therapy, then they

usually prescribe them as an adjunct to whatever treatments they

recommend).

There are several sites for the crude herbs as well. San Francisco

herb company is the one that comes to mind as the most cost

effective, although there are quite a few others which have been

posted over the past year which provide excellent quality herbs.

Sometimes you can find good herbal sites with a google search.

Good luck. I wish you both the best! She will get it right

eventually. Keep the faith...

and never lose sight of your goals.

Healing is an experience!

God Bless, JoAnn
