LOL........Those links are a part of my signature - that actress is me!

Sorry. I guess I figured people would do a search on their own for " Natural

Hygiene. " I was short on time when I responded, but I'll be sure to inlcude

more information in the future.

Dr. Herbert Shelton is the " founder " of Natural Hygiene. It is basically a

raw diet - eating foods as close to their natural state as possible - this

is usually also a vegan diet. I followed it in college and I had tons of

energy, sparkling eyes and skin. Everyone asked what my secret was! I am

now struggling to get back to it, but it's difficult with 2 picky children

that I have to cook for. You can make raw crackers and chips by using a

dehydrator - and also cookies that are unbaked. If you check out the

recipes on the below links, you will see what I mean.

There is a fabulous recipe which consists of zucchini shredded into long

strips resembling spaghetti using a saladacco (spiral slicer), but I use a

grater to make mine. Then make a topping of fresh tomatoes, cilantro, bell

peppers, spices, and whatever else you might like - maybe even a squeeze of

fresh lime. This is so yummy! You can eat it at room temperature or warm

it slightly in the dehydrator. If it is warmed at under 105 degrees, it

maintains its enzymes and is still considered raw.

Also, there are several newsgroups on - 12stepstoraw

and rawfoods also rawfoodsbeginners .
