I just sent this to someone and thought I'd forward to these groups as well for those who don't know the proper definations of noise sensitivity. Hyperacusis is a noise sensitivity, which is actually connected to environmental sensitivities (many of us get it from the mercury in flu shots, and vaccinations and being sensitive to chemicals although that normally comes later....... Hyperacusis is also related to an electrical sensitivity, and it seems weird but once you understand the mechanisms of exactly how the ear works it's very logical. The ear transmits electrical impulses into the synapses of the brain, the sound that goes in one ear is processed by the other half of the brain, and the cochlear cells (about 12,500) all pick up different ranges of tones, pitches, Fq so that's why powerful hearing aids in noisy setting can drive people batty and usually people keep them in their drawers.............yet the intelligence agency seems to

be able to create nice little quiet ones just to amplify words and speech and we have that too, only for the telephone unless you like electrical amplification 100times right in your eardrums. I do have a hearing loss too, that is correctly termed "Recruitment", so usually people with noise sensitivity and a hearing loss never are told anything about hyperacusis and doctors are not really allowed to inform these people about anything. The Hyperacusis Network is located at : www.hyperacusis.net It was started by Dan Malcore who's a mortician by trade who got hyperacusis in a business conference in Toronto sitting to close to the speakers one night at one of Toronto's most popular tourist restaurants, which I'am sure was the Spaghetti Factory down on Front Street. Physic Professers, Acoustic consultants and mechanical engineers know so much more about how sound affects the body more than doctors, but the doctors are not

allowed to talk about anything or admit anything they know or inform the patients, they really don't. Yet the biggest disabilites in the middle east are tinnitus and hyperacusis, and hyperacucis is far worse. Joshua Leeds, author of the book entitled "The Power of Sounds", said that 10 out of 12 cranial nerves are completly affected by what goes in the ear, and if loud sounds or screechy sounds don't startle you they can be the cause of your stomach ulcer, and so forth, it's basic physics 101.
