Guest guest
Hi again Gaye, Here is the Deep Tissue Repair Oil. Yes you can use it like a poultice but it would be best to rub it in. Whatever will work. The following is my formula for DEEP TISSUE REPAIR OIL. This formula is awesome, and I have found it to be beneficial for arthritis patients, torn ligaments, pulled muscles, and maladjusted vertebrae. Suprisingly, it will sometimes get rid of a headache almost instantly if you put a drop on both of your temples and rub it in. Used in conjuction with Dr. Christopher's BF & C formula (tea & tincture), and you can create miracles of healing in the damaged area. Much love, Ian "Doc" Shillington N.D. Deep Tissue Repair Oil Formula 32 oz. Wintergreen Oil 16 oz. Cold Pressed Organic Virgin Olive Oil 12 oz. Menthol Crystals (must be made from Peppermint or Thyme) 1/2 cup of DMSO 2 cups Arnica Flowers (Dry) 2 cups Calendula (Dried Marigold Flowers) 1 cup Ginger Root 1/2 cup Cayenne (Hottest you can find = Habanero) Blend for 2 minutes and store for two weeks. Add the DMSO after you have pressed the tincture. Do not get this formula near water in any shape or form or your mixture will mold. Hope you can get it. Don Quai ---- herbal remedies 09. Guest guest
Good Morning, As for the knee being bony...just massage the muscles around and under the leg of the actual knee cap. Even though the pain may be right on top, you'll be surprised at how much the muscles AROUND the knee will thank you for this...lol. Try it, he and his knee will like it... Now, let me go see if I can get that file into this email... Angel This is from Doc... The following is my formula for DEEP TISSUE REPAIR OIL. Guest guest
All essential oils have this in common. It is a highly concentrated oil. It takes pounds of plant material to distill one or two drops of oil, depending on the plant. Some plants do not have any. Essential oils are used mostly externally and in aromatherapy. Some can be used internally in tiny amounts. There are lots of great medicinal EO's out there, but like everything else you use on yourself or others - you must know the simple facts of use and dosage. Janet - gayekyc1 herbal remedies Wednesday, July 09, 2003 1:28 PM Re: [herbal remedies] Knee pain Suzi, I looked, but what were you referring to? I did look at theguidlines for using (neat) essential oils. if that was it. I do know that lots of oils herbs have side effects just like any othersubstances.....For instance juniper berries is said to damage kidney'sif used for a long period of time, same with cayenne. I know also, folks give these warnings, when the slightest hint ofdamage could occur, just to cover their backside!! But this "is" on the extreme side-(absorbtion through the skin can causedamage to kidneys and liver)??GayeCheerfulness and contentment are great beautifiers and are famouspreservers of youthful looks.~Charles Dickens~Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Guest guest
Absolutes are not true essential oils. They are from plants that do not have any extractable EOs in them, like Jasmine. Cold pressing is an excellent choice. Infusion os plant materials in certified organic cold pressed olive oil is the best way to go with plants like Jasmine IMHO. Guest guest
Hi Sylvia, Absolutes are usually and for the most part extracted with hexane which is a hydrocarbon chemical derived from crude oil. It is quite similar to benzene. Theoretically, there is no hexane left in the absolute after processing. I do tend to agree with Janet that infused oils are much better with less chance of hydrocarbon impurities. I am not really sure if they make any of these absolutes using the CO2 method or supercritical extraction. Just haven't got that far in my researching yet. The reason for them being solvent extracted is because the essential properties just won't come out any other way. Absolutes are highly sought and prized by perfumers. They are also quite expensive. Best to pick your own jasmine and infuse it in some benign oil like Almond.
