Could the antibiotic you are thinking of be called KEFLEX? My doctor

tried to give it to me for an infection in my finger (cellulitus)...

When I went to the pharmacy to pick it up the pharmacist said it was

the same properties as penicillin and since I was allergic to it, did I

still want it. I said NO THANKS.... I have no idea if that is the same

one you mentioned, but if it is, it can be dangerous to those allergic

to penicillin.

Interesting to learn. I'm deathly allergic to

penicillin but am able to take Keflex! Hmmmmm will

have to research that one...

Sulfurmethoxazole almost killed me but Keflex and

other pennacilin drugs don't bother me at all. It took

me about 6 mohths to fully recover from the damage of

just one Sulfur pill.
