Orange Peppermint Acne Relief Soap

16 oz orange oil or clear m & p soap

1 tsp sweet orange oil

1 tsp dried crushed peppermint leaves

1 tsp ground orange peel

1 tbl aloe vera gel

5 drops orange soap color or 3 drops red and 2 drops yellow food color

Melt soap base in microwave on medium for 2 minutes or stovetop

method in double-boiler.

Add all ingredients stirring until smooth. Pour into olive oil coated

molds or small loaf pan. Let harden completely and slice or remove

from mold. Let air dry 24 hours before packaging. Great for oily skin

or minor acne breakouts. (My 3 teenaged children love it and it

smells nice too!) ***WARNING***Limit exposure to sunlight immediately

after bathing with soap!! May irritate skin.

You can find it at any craft store like Michaels or Ben Franklin craft. If you are an online shopper, the best site that I recommend is www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com. They are awesome!!

Okay, I might have already asked and spaced-but I want a M & P soap that doesn't have sodium laureth sulfate in it... is there such a thing? Is there another option? Trying to avoid the chemicals that seem to be added in most soaps.

you can purchase bulk soap from www.soapwizards.com and make your own

herbal soap! They don't put sodium laureth sulfate in it :)

you can also try vermontsoap.com if you don't want to make it

yourself. but it's fun to make. and addicting, I think.

it is for me.
