House Passes HR 2749 Crusador Staffhttp://www.healthtruthrevealed.comJuly 31, 2009 It took two tries but on the second attempt Congress railroaded HR 2749, also known as the Food Safety Enhancement Act, down the throats of the American people. The Bill still needs to get passed in the Senate and signed by the President to take effect, but America is creeping ever closer to a Communist dictatorship where virtually every form of food production is monitored, regulated and controlled at all levels by the federal government under the leadership of a new Food Safety Czar. Many mainstream news stories are hailing the passage of this Bill in the House as a great step in the right direction to help America have better food safety standards. In reality, after close examination of the contents, you will quickly realize that what is being reported in the mainstream news is completely contradictory to what the Bill actually states. The language reads in such a way that it will require every entity, whether it be a business, church organization, homeless shelter, or home gardener to register annually with a new federal food bureau. Many may see that as a good thing. However, those who believe in freedom and less government intrusion into their everyday lives will see this as a further infringement upon our Constitutional rights. For example, if you are a church group and you provide food to the homeless or if your church has decided to take some steps to prepare for a possible calamity (i.e swine flu pandemic, natural disaster, economic collapse, terrorism, etc.) by stocking up on storable food, that church will now be required to register with the government annually and meet a whole bunch of new criteria in order to continue to do that. In addition to all of the new red tape, it effectively gives the government complete authority over every facet of food whether it be how it is grown to how it is processed, packaged, shipped, and stored. This is all in the name of protecting public health. For everyone in the nutritional supplement industry, this Bill should be a serious concern to you. Since dietary supplements are classified as foods this Bill will impact every facet of the manufacturing, processing, shipping and storing of all of these items as well. Similar to the way Congress has operated within the past year, this Bill was rushed through to passage using fear with no public input or comments and done just one day before summer recess. Our only hope at this time is to wage opposition to a lot of the language in this Bill in the Senate before they shove it down our throats as well. HR 2749 will most likely cripple small businesses and set up a system whereby the only companies that will be able to meet all the criteria will be medium to large size companies with the funds and staff in place to comply. If the federal government is really concerned about stimulating the economy the last thing they need to be doing is bogging down small businesses with a host of new regulations that will force them out or increase all of their costs. Mind you that all of the food related problems that have occurred that have been used as the excuse to change the laws have dealt with meat production from factory farm operations or large processing operations where the FDA and USDA already have full authority under current law to be more involved and ensure quality products. July 16th 2009Kathleen Sebelius, current Secretary of Health and Human Services under the Obama Administration, recently wrote a letter to a number of newspapers across this land (to include our very own Zephyr in Galesburg, Illinois). Her letter warned all Americans that we need to be prepared for the oncoming H1N1 flu that the government and media have been hyping. She states that a vaccine will be available around mid-October but that this will not be soon enough to stop the virulent disease from possibly wreaking havoc on the United States. Make no mistake that I also believe that this lab engineered virus will have a devastating effect on this planet. I simply don’t agree that the very ones that have created this virus should be the ones that we turn to for help.What everyone truly should be concerned about is not the H1N1 flu but the vaccine that is being created to combat this problem. History gives us an accurate estimate on what to expect from our government’s intervention. Upon reading the media stories of the dramatic estimates of those already infected (possibly a million by CDC statements) or those that are at risk of being affected in the future, we inevitably hear the statistics of the tragedy of the Spanish Influenza epidemic of 1918, the horrible flu outbreak of the 50s or the swine flu epidemic of 1976. We also hear that the seemingly benign “seasonal” influenza virus kills over 30,000 each year in America. With these historic accounts and the numbers given, is there any wonder that many Americans are in panic mode?Secretary Sebelius however, assures Americans that the government is doing everything it can to get the H1N1 Influenza vaccine onto the market as soon as possible, assuming that the experimental vaccine is determined to be “safe and effective”. This is the disturbing part for me and others that have followed this “outbreak” from the very beginning and history. HHS and the rest of our government and medical establishment obviously believe that the seasonal flu vaccine that they are pushing like high end drug dealers is “safe and effective”. The CDC issued a statement last year that stated that the 2008 / 2009 vaccine for the seasonal flu was found to be 90% ineffective yet in the very same statement, reassured every American that they should still take advantage of the vaccine! Doctors and health departments across this country, knowing that the vaccine was worthless, continued to push this vaccine as if it was soap particles instead of rock cocaine. Completely worthless, yet still making a dollar!I have a couple of questions for Secretary Sebelius:1. If last year's flu vaccine was 90% ineffective, yet the government continued to implore Americans to get vaccinated, why should we trust THIS vaccine?2. While this vaccine may be mercury free for some, why haven't you addressed the problem of injecting aluminum, another known neurotoxin, into our pregnant women?6. It is by the way, the second most toxic element known to man.The Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918 was caused by the vaccines that our soldiers received during their courageous service to our country. The majority of those that survived are those that refused the vaccine. The 1950s flu was the same. The 1976 swine flu vaccine killed 25 people (that we know of) and paralyzed 500 more, while the swine flu itself was attributed to one death. Baxter Pharmaceuticals released a flu vaccine that contained a strain of a virulent avian flu virus mixed with human influenza last year, something that researchers and scientists have feared that Mother Nature would eventually find a way to do someday. They however, are one of the many companies that hold patents to the H1N1 vaccine and stand to make a fortune. How can this be and why are we allowing it to happen? As the father of a seven year old son that regressed into autism after his 20 month vaccines I have researched, studied and spoken on the subject on a daily basis. I have also seen the epidemic increases in a number of chronic illnesses (on which 70% of our national health care dollars are spent) and I believe that vaccines are playing a major role in this dramatic rise. Many people, especially physicians, will tell you that I am a fear mongerer or just plain ignorant of the facts. Unfortunately for them, they have nothing to base this accusation on. There has not been one study done in this country or abroad on vaccinated vs.unvaccinated children. There is absolutely no research regarding the long term effects that vaccines may have and there doesn’t seem to be much interest in looking, within the medical establishment or our government.Paul A. Offit M.D. would be considered the person that is clearly at the other extreme, from my stance, when considering the safety of vaccines. He has been quoted stating that children could handle 10,000 vaccines and when questioned about this statement, he corrected himself and pronounced that he had meant 100,000. He jokes about parents like me at his speaking engagements, which is indicative of his disregard for what my family goes through on a daily basis. He has even written a book, Autism’s False Profits; Bad Science, Risky Medicine and the Search for a Cure, that completely attempts to dispel and discount the success stories that we in the autism community are having with regards to helping our children despite the lack of concern from the medical establishment.In his book, Offit clearly portrays his disregard for the treatments that have helped my son. He states “Many parents of children with autism are tired of the glacial pace of medical research, tired of slogging through hours of behavioral therapy, and tired of watching children improve at rates so slow it’s hard to tell if they are improving at all. They want something now, something that will immediately release them from the prison of autism.” I have spent a lot of time with autism families across the country and the world, in addition to what my wife and I deal with on a daily basis with our son. I can tell you without a doubt, this statement by Offit is false and hurtful. For a physician that claims to be doing what he is doing because of his compassion for the children of this country and the world, saying things like this (which is the entire basis and tone of this book and his speaking engagements) is very telling regarding his true motives. Pediatricians, Family Practitioners and researchers continue to spew the same type of filth as Offit does with no regard for the actual success stories that we in the autism community see on a regular basis.These are the types of people that claim that a recovered child must have been “misdiagnosed” and “never had autism to begin with.” They are the ones that practically jumped for joy when parents were denied compensation for their children’s vaccine injuries at the Autism Omnibus Hearings. They will completely ignore however, the hundreds of government vaccine court cases that have been conceded by the Department of Health and Human Services and have clearly stated that vaccines contributed to or resulted in an autism diagnosis. They ignore the thousands of parents with the same story that my wife and I have with no regard, whatsoever, for the facts and the science behind our stance.Autism’s False prophets derides and degrades parents for putting their children at risk with “undocumented and untested” alternative treatments while he and mainstream medicine in general, continues to offer nothing in return but the overstated remark that “vaccines do not cause autism.” There is no reputable science to back up this statement, yet it seems to be the mantra for Offit and his ilk.Recently there was a CBS news story on a Fort Worth affiliate, (TXA 11) that showed a mother of a five year old daughter and a two year old son that was placing her children into a clinical trial for the new and yet untested, H1N1 vaccine. The trial will have 1000 children and 1000 adults being tested with a number of different formulations of the vaccine in order to determine which ones work, and which don’t. Despite the fact that the doctor in the story, Dr. William Seger, was quoted as saying; “you should not be able to develop the swine flu from the swine flu vaccine.” And “Generally speaking (the) side effects are from the injection itself” (emphasis added) this mother was treated with complete and utter praise for subjecting her children to these unproven vaccines.Where are the despicable and deriding comments regarding this mother’s complete lack of concern for her children’s safety? At what point does subjecting your children to a clinical trial for a rushed and unproven vaccine become acceptable when parents searching for help for their chronically ill, autistic children with hyperbaric oxygen therapy, chelation, supplements and vitamins are continually and disgustingly ridiculed? This was of course a rhetorical question that I feel incredibly comfortable answering. Vitamins, supplements and bio medical therapies do not make the pharmaceutical companies money! When they work, it is a direct result of parents and alternative practitioners understanding the toxic overload that these children have been subjected to, many as a direct result of vaccines. Why should this concern the people in the U.S. and the rest of the human population for that matter? One has only to look at the recent history of this Chicago suburb based corporation and its international companies.During the preparation for the 2008 European flu season, Baxter AG sent flu vaccine to 18 countries that were “accidentally” contaminated with an avian flu virus. On February 24th of 2009, Bloomberg reported falsely that the company had inadvertently sent the avian virus by mistake for laboratory use. In the same story, Bloomberg reported that Baxter International gained 93 cents, or 1.6 percent in the New York Stock Exchange. Reports in newspapers from the Czech Republic, Germany and Austria however, clearly state that the avian flu virus was in the contents of the seasonal flu vaccine sent to 18 countries for distribution and subsequent vaccination of its citizens. It is virtually impossible to believe that a vaccine manufacturer working under Bio safety level 3 conditions could accidentally contaminate a seasonal flu vaccine with a bio weapon. A Canadian Press article states that this “mixing process, called reassortment, is one of two ways pandemic viruses are created.”Why America and other countries are relying on Baxter to now come up with a vaccine for the current H1N1 pandemic is beyond me. What was originally termed a “swine flu” regarding this current WHO declared pandemic, has been found to be contaminated with swine, avian and human influenza viruses. Avian flu is normally, in nature, transmitted from infected fowl to humans. It is not easily transmitted from human to human. With this potentially devastating “accidental” contamination in the flu vaccine distributed by Baxter, they have essentially introduced to the human population, what pandemic experts have feared would eventually happen in nature; an avian flu mixed with a highly virulent human flu that will allow the avian flu to become easily transmitted from human to human casual contact.Make no mistake. Moreover, I maintain that the specific production system which Baxter has developed with help of US government bodies for producing a human vaccination to the bird flu — namely, the use of 1,200 liter bioreactors and vero cell technology – could meet the technical criteria to be classified as a secret dual purpose large-scale bioweapon production facility in as far as the production process would allow a huge amount of contaminated vaccine material to be produced rapidly.If contaminated material were added to the 1,200 liter bioreactors, it would replicate and infect the entire batch of vaccine material in the 1,200 liter tank. Contaminated material could be distributed among sections of the population using false labels and secretly marked batches and so infect millions of people. Many drugmakers are using techniques of genetic manipulation to produce their new vaccine offerings in a race to market. The Maryland drugmaker Novavax which reported severe annual income losses prior to the current Swine Flu scare, now is preparing a genetically modified vaccine they claim is suitable for H1N1 flu.There is evidence of an increase in vaccine refusal in the United States.3 In 1976 President Gerald Ford issued an Executive Order calling for every man woman and child in the USA to be vaccinated against a suspected outbreak of swine Flu at the Fort Dix US military base. Within months more than forty million unknowing Americans had been vaccinated, some 20% of the then total population despite the fact that no pandemic ever appeared. The flu was restricted to Fort Dix.Mass vaccinations started in October 1976, but within weeks reports started coming in of people developing Guillain-Barré syndrome, a paralyzing nerve disease, right after taking the shot. Primate development, cognition and social behavior were assessed for both vaccinated and unvaccinated infants using standardized tests developed at the Washington National Primate Research Center. Amygdala growth and binding were measured serially by MRI and by the binding of the non-selective opioid antagonist [11C]diprenorphine, measured by PET, respectively, before (T1) and after (T2) the administration of the measles-mumps-rubella vaccine (MMR).Results: Compared with unexposed animals, significant neurodevelopmental deficits were evident for exposed animals in survival reflexes, tests of color discrimination and reversal, and learning sets. Differences in behaviors were observed between exposed and unexposed animals and within the exposed group before and after MMR vaccination. Compared with unexposed animals, exposed animals showed attenuation of amygdala growth and differences in the amygdala binding of [11C]diprenorphine. Interaction models examined possible relationships between time-to-acquisition of reflexes, exposure, [3C]DPN binding, and volume. Statistically significant interactions between exposure and time-to–acquisition of reflex on overall levels of binding at T1 and T2 were observed for all 18 reflexes. For all but one (snout), this involved a mean increase in time-to-acquisition of the reflex for exposed animals. In each model there was also a significant interaction between exposure and MRI volume on overall binding.Conclusions:This animal model examines the neurological consequences of the childhood vaccine regimen. Functional and neuromorphometric brainstem anomalies were evident in vaccinated animals that may be relevant to some aspects of autism. These systems, either singly or in combination, appear to be adversely affected in many ASD children. Although pre-clinical tests of individual vaccines routinely find the risk/benefit ratio to be low, previously there has not been a study to examine the effects of the comprehensive vaccination regime currently in use for infants. Objectives: This study was designed to evaluate potential alterations in normal growth and development resulting from the vaccine regimen that was in use from 1994-1999. Specifically, this portion of the study was to compare the gene expression profiles obtained from gastrointestinal tissue from vaccinated and unvaccinated infants. Methods: Infant male macaques were vaccinated (or given saline placebo) using the human vaccination schedule. Dosages and times of administration were adjusted for differences between macaques and humans. Biopsy tissue was collected from the animals at three time points: (1) 10 weeks [pre-MMR1], (2) 14 weeks [post-MMR1] and, (3) 12-15 months [at necropsy]. Whole genome microarray analysis was performed on RNA extracted from the GI tissue from 7 vaccinated and 2 unvaccinated animals at each of these 3 time points (27 samples total). Results: Histopathological examination revealed that vaccinated animals exhibited progressively severe chronic active inflammation, whereas unexposed animals did not. Gene expression comparisons between the groups (vaccinated versus unvaccinated) revealed only 120 genes differentially expressed (fc >1.5; log ratio p<0.001) at 10 weeks, whereas there were 450 genes differentially expressed at 14 weeks, and 324 differentially expressed genes between the 2 groups at necropsy. Conclusions: We have found many significant differences in the GI tissue gene expression profiles between vaccinated and unvaccinated animals. These differences will be presented and discussed.
