Guest guest
Dear Crystal Healing Workshop, I would lilke to know what you all do in crystal treatments regarding colour of stones and chakras... Mostly i read that each stone only be placed on the correspondind chakra... but I remember reading that experimentation is good, going with ituition instead of regulated set-ups....for example, snowflake obsidian can be used around the head area not only the root chakra if the intuition feels right...etc etc how do you al feel about this, and does anyone know of good books discussing the benefits of intuition led placement as opposed to the formal set-up... I cannot find in my books, as yet, where they talk about this method of healing. But I'm sure i read it somewhere!! Thanks E
Guest guest
Aloha E. . . .If you go to my website www.heartofmaui.com and browse you will find many of the answers to questions you are asking. Although stones and their colors are generally associated with chakras., you are right, there are no right or wrong crystals/minerals for each chakra. Under the listing A-Z properties you can access all information we could find in reference to each of crystal/mineral listed. There is also information offered with the Balancing Chakra Balancing Sets that you can access without purchasing sets. Guidelines for choosing stones as well as using a pendulum to select stones is also offered in Pendulum section. I put a booklet together when I was recovering from the injuries of a car 'accident' and could not work with crystals at a local craft venue and remembered feeling overwhelmed at the amount of information available. As well as a page for each of seven major chakras that is a compilation for each major chakra, there is detailed information on quartzes and quartz use. I tried to share from the heart of my own experiences in a way that makes those not familiar a little less intimidated. If you have questions beyond that or are interested in obtaining a copy of our book Guide to Heart Chakra Grid, Seven Major Chakras and Chakra Balancing contact me directly. We also offer Chakra Flag Sets and Banner that are not shown yet at site, but will be happy to send info on. Hope this finds all enjoying peace amid the holiday busyness. For me this had been a year of lessons and abundance and I am grateful for both. Our crystal friends and have awakened many of us and offered their assistance in offering their light, vibration and wise council. Blessings to all! Guest guest
My personal opinion: In general the colour of the stone does resonate with the colour of the chakra, but we're not restricted to *only* using stones of the correct colour. I work on intuition, rather than any hard and fast 'rules', and the stones I use in chakra layouts, more often than not, don't correspond by colour. Guest guest
I promise, this is more than a " me too " princessbbf2 wrote: > My personal opinion: > In general the colour of the stone does resonate with the colour of > the chakra, but we're not restricted to *only* using stones of the > correct colour. I agree, and would like to add some of my own observations, for I work closely with my own chakras and color, and have often used crystals to help me with my chakras but even more so with my auras. I have found that often times, the color my chakra appears to *me* in my inner eye (more an impression of a color than actually seeing one), tells me much about it. And often the color I need to use is one that assists the chakra by strengthening that paricular ... er, wavelength of color? For example, I use my heart a *lot* and there have been times when, for one reason or another, wow, this is hard to describe! Let's just say that the energies from my solar plexus sometimes go beyond their normal bounds--by the way I've used them--and my heart chakra gets a bit over stretched in a sense, and well, the result is that my heart chakra " looks " to me to be a bit on the pale yellow side... in a case like that, the assistance of a crystal with strong blues in it helps me. I hope that made sense Another time in which I use crystals that would, to outer appearances, look like the " wrong " color are when in meditation I've picked one up and tried to get a " feel " for it's color and purpose and discover that the color and purpose are different than what the physical color would imply--I then go with what I " felt " . A third variation--for me--is when the aura corresponding to the chakra is what is off and then I will use a color that would be helpful there, instead. In fact, I'm more apt to use crystals to adjust and strengthen my auras than my chakras. And fourthly, I've also found that crystals in combination can sometimes produce a very strong sense of a particular color even when that might not on the surface be what you'd think they'd have. For example, am on a very, very tight budget and have not been able to afford " decent " crystals in a long time and those I had, I lost in a move... so I've had to " make do " with those necklaces of crystal chips you find in hobby shops--which too often have been... altered. They still work very well for me, but the combinations can be particularly interesting, and I don't know if " good " quality would work out different or not... I use those qualitative words in quotes because, as I said, they've worked very well with and for me and I really like them Anyway, an example there: I have malachite, blue/aqua fluorite and amethyst necklaces that when combined, have this incredibly rich, deep, purple color to my inner eye--it's like this slow, heavy purple flame and they feel wonderful when they " look " like that to me... Usually, I have gone primarily by the feel of the energies of each of the combination to figure out what " feels " right for me at any given time, but since I've started " looking " at them, have found some really interesting colors and corresponding effects that seem to be stronger than surface appearances would imply. Oh yeah, and FWIW, I personally, when using crystals to work with chakras when I've had some stand alone crystals, tended to use the darker colored ones to help boost--for example, my favorite for the throat is actually lapis lazuli... but then, I don't seem to do anything quite like anyone else, so take that with the proverbial " grain of salt " which is, itself, a crystal in love and service Ariel
Guest guest
Hi Skye, I loved your website - did you do the graphics yourself? Is the pendulum with the Moldavite your personal pendulum? Concerning the grid - the position of the quartz points is a position in which I intuitively place my quartz points when I recite the Psalms. This position is the way the Hebrew priests hold their hands when blessing the nation - it also is a typical icon which is engraved already in ancient Israel on synagogues, wash basins for ritual hand washing and grave stones. The hands in Kabalistic philosophy are part of the heart energy (hence raising a hand in blessing, shaking hands etc. are acts for physical manifestations of love-energy). Guest guest
Aloha Alisa. . .I had a local photographer who had a special set up used for taking jewelry photographs do the grid you see on front page. When he first took it he insisted that I not be present as he didn't want a lot of fussing and botheration going on (lol). When I saw the picture and realized that it was all 'wrong', I insisted that we redo it and he reluctantly agreed and we set a time. Over the next few days I had dreams that lead me to a book that offered information on placement of amethyst and citrine and dreams would come at night offering information. From that point on everything seemed to know where it wanted to go. I had only a few hours to arrange the stones, and tried a few times to place stones logically, I'd change a stone and it would insist on being put back where it wanted to be, so.ended up giving it up totally to intuition and divine guidance Amazingly, the number of stones and all of the placements have had significance. When a friend and I discovered that there were only 43 (44 is a heart chakra number) I was a little miffed. How could I have been so non observant? She asked what stone was missing and we discovered that it was Peach Aventurine, which relates to service, so we joked about the fact that it had intentionally offered itself. The beauty of that turns our to be that when you dd your own personal stone to a printout of the grid it becomes your own. I have never given much thought to the placement of the two Lemurian crystals at the sides of the interior, so am very grateful that you have shared your impressions. In fact at this moment I feel 'blown away' by how significant that placement was, in light of what you shared. A true testament to importance of allowing intuition to guide. I would love to add what you've shared to the information at the website, so hope you don't my doing so. Anyone else with impressions is also welcome to share. I usually use whatever pendulum is handy as we have quite a few around. The Celtic Knot pendulums (with Moldavite in basket) are ones that we have for sale and I have 4 in stock. The Clear Quartz ones with Moldavite at top are temporarily out of stock, but I do have one. They are both $44. Moldavite is often chosen for it's ability to clear and not take on negative energies. If you want to order and have trouble ordering through the website (still under construction) let me know and I can send Paypal invoicing in other ways. We're aiming to have site completely operational by Feb 1st with flags, jewelry, pendulums and correct pricing on Chakra Balancing set. In meantime, I will try be of help if you call me at number at bottom of front page at site. Mahalo nui loa (thank you very much) for you sharing, it really made my day. Blessings!
