Guest guest
I would suggest a sulfate free shampoo. A Vegan Shampoo would be sulfate free, I believe. Guest guest
Check the ingredients for artificial color(s), especially FD & C Yellow Dye # ANYTHING. Also look for phosphates, tree nuts oils and eucalyptus. Better yet, find a shampoo with as few ingredients as possible, and make sure they're not on anyone's allergenic list. Every now and then a previously-harmless shampoo brand (or other product) I'm using will quietly change its formula, adding Yellow Dye or whatever. First couple times of hive breakouts on my face, I dissected the list of all foods I'd recently eaten, before finding the culprit in shampoo or something. Good luck! Guest guest
I have had problems with shampoos until I read in Dr. Clark's book to use borax... I did not like it at first, because it does not foam, but my hair gets clean. She also recommends rinsing it with a light citric acid solution... My hair has never been that nice, shiny, etc... but I had to get used to it... In the beginning I felt as if it were not clean, but it does actually get nice and clean. Guest guest
I wasn't done posting but my computer sent it anyways (grrr). Anyways, I looked on safecosmetics.com and most of those recommended were either from online companies that individually sell (I'd have to buy from their site) or are tremendously expensive. " Nurture my body " was ranked pretty high but wow, it was like $20 for 8 oz. Another line came out of the UK, and it was 12 lbs - I think the translation rate for the UK is like 1.57 so that's really expensive too.
