Guest guest
Me again - Exploring this Oleander thing - again... I've read about it innumerable times since my diagnosis but always put it aside because the information I gathered about it had so many holes it seemed too much to tackle at the time. Now, it's time and I hope you can share what you know so I don't have to re-invent the wheel all by myself again... The post below reminded me of some of the missing facts that has prevented me from including this remedy in my arsenal for myself and all my friends in my local support groups... 1) Who is this Phoenix spin-off company - Nerium Biotechnology located in Canada ? Are they they manufacturer? What else do they manufacture? What is the process they use? Is this a big operation or is this some guy working from his shed in the back yard? What is their address and contact info? 2) What is the toxicity level of homemade oleander soup? In other words, at what point can it be deadly or cause permanent damage? Amount ingested or concentration maximum exceeded, or type of oleander used, or what? And by what mechanism is it deadly? Does it just shut the liver down or what? 3) I don't understand this sentence "...it does cross assay with digitalis/digoxin, and lip numbness is a sign of contamination - likely by pesticides such as Malathion." what does that mean? when it is mixed with digitalis it's deadlier? does Malathion contain digitalis? why would you use oleander that has been sprayed with Malathion or anything else for that matter? does this mean that if I'm taking digitalis pills, I under no circumstance should use the oleander in any form, for cancer? 4) Where are all these reports and studies and research that's constantly used as a factual basis for the conclusive oleander benefits? Not asking for anything done by "pharma" but just the ACTUAL sources of all these stories, benefits, assumptions? I want to read these myself and make my own judgments about the FACTS or fictions involved. So, where are all these documents, stories, sources that Tony is basing his conviction and promotion on? I want to discuss this with my naturopath also who is working with me on my cancer treatment protocol - but I need to talk to him intelligently, not just parrot some anecdotal hand-me-down stories about who knows who having been cured who knows where and when. 5) Do any of these people who say they've been cured and having surprised their doctors - do these people offer themselves as references? Do they offer their medical records for review to us to help us believe it in an intelligent way? Do their doctors offer any kind of statements or anything anywhere? 6) Is there a list anywhere of all these "places" or labs or doctors or researchers involved with the oleander for cancer topic, worldwide or at least domestically? Like this Nerium Biotech and MD Anderson and Tony of course and who's continuing the work in Turkey or Israel or where ever this originated back in the 30ies or 40ies? 7) And last question I can think of right now - Is there a more definitive group, list, source for the oleander - cancer relationship, than this list by Tony? I hope I haven't offended anyone on this list with my questioning that, in which you all most likely are already believers. I WANT to find out that this thing has some substantive data to support it's promoted benefits. I really do. That's what I'm trying to do by trying to get some of these obvious holes plugged in with the missing information. I appreciate any feedback you can offer. Thank you, Angel .. Guest guest
You can search the MD Anderson site, using the term " Anvirzel " Also, look at: www.saludintegral.hn and their links under " research " . Also, read the U.S. Patent by Ozel. Search under " Anvirzel patent " on and a link pops up. There are hundreds of case histories out there, but in the final analysis, Oleander Soup, aka Anvirzel, will never have the support of those who could afford the studies to legitimize its widespread use. Not enough profit to be made. It's going to be relegated to the realm of " folk medicine " , where it began and where it belongs, a remedy for the desperate and poor. I feel it is worthy of use for those who can't afford nor tolerate the other alternatives. Like " Gator Blood " . Who woulda thunk. Guest guest
In many ways Scientology is a friend of natural and alternative healing; however there is no doubt it is a cult. I am not a fan, having had a very close family member have an unpleasant experience with one of their operations, and this is NOT a topic we are going to debate here. I do, however, respect those who feel otherwise. oleander soup , " Michelle " <Yahsway wrote: > > Please don't send her to a cult site. That's the last thing she needs. Guest guest
Internet debates on Scientology can go on forever and are not productive. Tony is right. This is not the forum for such a debate. Let us end this discussion and anyone who is interested can go to the library or the websites.
