Guest guest
Ok group, I've been searching all over the WWW to make sure the oleander I use is " Nerium " . The only " oleander " found is of the genus nerium. Are there other, .... uh, not nerium oleander plants? Kygos
Guest guest
I live in South Florida and have different Oleander plants growing all over the place around here. Some with white flowers some with reddish flowers. Now I have to know which one is nerium? Have I been using the wrong Oleander soup for the past few months? I thought they were all good to use. This should be interesting. -kygos5 oleander soup Subject: Nerium deliriumMon, 22 Oct 2007 12:53:34 -0000 Ok group, I've been searching all over the WWW to make sure theoleander I use is "Nerium". Guest guest
There is also the yellow flowered Mexican or Desert oleander which greatly resembles nerium oleander, but has rounded lantern shaped seed pods (which are considered the most poisonous part of that plant): http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/2248/ oleander soup , " kygos5 " <kygos5 wrote: > > > Ok group, I've been searching all over the WWW to make sure the > oleander I use is " Nerium " . Guest guest
No, the only "other" oleander has yellow flowers and round lantern shaped seed pods. All other colors are nerium oleander. Only yellow might be the other kind. Tony winston bartlett <winstonb wrote: I live in South Florida and have different Oleander plants growing all over the place around here. Guest guest
I see. That's nice and simple. I saw at least 50 other O plants, and if there is one nO plant, I figure that's about 98% chance of getting it right. Thanks Y'all oleander soup , " Tony " wrote: > > There is also the yellow flowered Mexican or Desert oleander which > greatly resembles nerium oleander, but has rounded lantern shaped seed > pods (which are considered the most poisonous part of that plant): > > http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/2248/ > > > > oleander soup , " kygos5 " <kygos5@> wrote: > > > > > > Ok group, I've been searching all over the WWW to make sure the > > oleander I use is " Nerium " .
