Hi all.

A friend of mine have a haluccination crisis due to robitussin ingestion, about

two bottles daily. Is there any natural way of detox from that type of drgus to

help to overcome the addiction?

Institutions for mental illness in my country use very aggresive method and

hisfamily is thinking in that option.I ask them to wait for my investigation

about a natural approach.

Any help?

Hi Vic.

Bless your friend's heart! I have no experience with the remedy I'm

about to suggest, and I have only recently done searches on the net

to find out more about it, but maybe Indium Sulfate would help. It

is a natural mineral, and many who have used it claim to lose all

interest in alcohol and addictive drugs. I found it on

www.iherb.com , for a fairly reasonable price, and I found other

sites that explain it's benefits and chemistry. Your friend would

have to be sure to take one drop on his tongue first thing in the

morning, and then abstain from eating for 30 minutes. Dosage can be

increased little by little, if needed. It also levels blood pressure

and increases energy, so it's good for more than just addictions. I

would think he would be more agreeable to a cleanse for toxins after

he got his addiction under control...???...is he able to reason at

all?

Hope this helps. Be sure to search the net for more info on Indium,

and maybe you'll agree that it may help. You're a good friend, Vic!

With blessings,

Thanks Molly

I'll do a search and show the information to his family. In his psychotic crisis

he say to be a mormon prophet (he is amember of lds church) although he is able

to recognize his addiction, but before have occurred the same and he came back

to robitussin.

Let's see what can be done now.
