Guest guest
Has anyone here been attuned for reiki? I've had a few sessions and want to learn to do it myself. I have someone who is a master, and I really like her and feel comfortable with her. The fee is $250 plus $40 for a kit (not sure what's in it yet). Does this sound like a normal fee? Guest guest
Hi I have been attuned for Gaia healing which is simialr to Reiki. The prices do sound a lot when you first hear about them but if you think about money as a barter system it makes it easier to deal with. I am not sure what kit you need for healing though so perhaps you had better find out. Gaia uses the eraths energy and as you become more advanced you can learn (be attuned ) to the other planets healing energies. Thsi is a great thing to get into it is helping me a lot with my own personal journey and you can also help other people and the earth itself. I would recommend reading up about all the healing methods there are loads out there and see which one you feel drawn to. I apid about £300 for my total attunement which means I can be a practitioner if I want to. You also get to keep the written information on the signs to use which I believe you are not allowed to with Reiki (but I may be wrong) as with everything it is very useful to look at the history of the healing practices to see if you agree with their views. Good luck with it all Rosie Apple ohandleygirl <ohandleygirl wrote: Has anyone here been attuned for reiki? I've had a few sessions and want to learn to do it myself. It says: 4 session Reiki classes wil be offered ...blah...blah...blah. Classes cover a range of topics including Reiki history and values, nutrition, aromatherapy and general health. Cost is $200, or $180 prepaid, with discounts available for seniors and persons with disabilities. willowen ohandleygirl Wednesday, October 04, 2006 8:37 PM Experience with Reiki? Guest guest
Hi, I am Reiki Master from Reiki Tummo tradition. There are a lot of Reiki traditions in the world, but I encourage you to learn Reiki Tummo. Tummo is a Tibetan word, it means " inner fire " and it refers to the hidden sacred power in everyone: the Kundalini. The Kundalini is crucial for your spiritual growth, because only the Kundalini can help unite the practitioner (micro cosmos) with the Oneness (macro cosmos). Unfortunately, the Kundalini in most humans is dormant. The awakening process of the Kundalini normally takes many years and Kundalini awakening can be dangerous. However, in Reiki Tummo, your Kundalini will be awakened instantly and safely when you receive the Level 2 attunement. Level 1 Reiki Tummo & #61472;attunement opens the whole sushumna (main energy channel in the spine) from the base all the way up to the crown chakra, so that any excessive pressure from the Kundalini energy within your body will be easily released through your sushumna. The opening and cleansing of your sushumna will also improve your health and your energy channeling ability. The combined and synchronized Reiki and Kundalini energy will result in an amazingly rapid and thorough cleansing upon you. Even a senior Reiki Master from other traditions can usually feel their progress after the opening of the whole sushumna in Level 1 attunement. Guest guest
Ohandleygirl, I am not sure where you are from, but my sister in law is a Reiki Tummo Teacher and I personally have become a Reiki Tummo Level 2 practioner and I can personally tell you that I have not heard of any kit to buy. There is a website that you can visit to get more information. They give free attunements every 1st of the month. It is www.padmacahaya.com If you wish, I can have you contact my sister n law personally via email if you wish to know more. I have gone to these classes and I can tell you that I have not heard of them teaching you nutrition and aromatherapy. I hope this helps. Guest guest
Hi, I am a level 2 Reiki and am planning on doing my Masters next year. I paid £150.00 Sterling for each of my courses which included the manuals and the Workshops whereby I was attuned. Guest guest
I've been attuned to levels 1 & 2 Usui Reiki. I live in NH, but my Reiki Master is in VT. She charged $100 for level 1. That included a class manual & a certificate. Level 2 was $250, which included the same stuff as level 1. I'm definitely glad I did them seperately as I needed the time between to absorb everything. Guest guest
Once you're attuned to Reiki level 2, you do get the symbols. My teacher did give us written copies of them. I think this is becoming more common...Just a heads up. Is there somewhere I could find out about Gaia healing online? That sounds really interesting.
