Dear RFD Members:

 

There is an important development at RFD that I'd like to share with you.

Beginning on July 14, RFD will begin producing a series of online medical

science conferences.

 

You can go to the RFD home page to see the banners that have just been put

up:http://www.redflagsdaily.com

 

Conferences may be sponsored by either individuals, groups, or small

companies making an effort to help introduce new scientific ideas into the

mix of viewpoints on key health issues.

 

There will be no advertising on RFD, but sponsoring individuals, groups, and

companies will be able to have links to sites of their choosing from RFD's

home page and the various conference pages.

 

There will be numerous science-based presentations and reactions to these

presentations. Visitors to RFD will also be able to become involved.

 

Our hope is to provide a major new way of airing important information on

major public health issues to the general public, to scientists, health

professionals and the media, as well as RFD members and visitors.

 

These online conferences will receive prominent display at RFD for at least

two months or longer, and then will be archived.

 

The first conference, beginning on July 14, will be on MAD COW DISEASE. This

is being sponsored by Chronix Biomedical, a small, innovative genomics

company that is pursuing powerful new ideas about the role of host genetics

in illness.

 

The second conference, beginning on Septemeber 15, will be on Vaccines. RFD

and our close friend on the Internet, Vaccinationnews.com, are joining

forces in presenting this conference,which will tackle the big issues of

vaccine safety and efficacy.

 

In a few days, detailed information will be published about both

conferences.

 

RFD is looking for individuals, groups and small innovative companies to

sponsor or co-sponsor other conferences. Anyone who is interested in

Sponsoring or helping to sponsor a conference at RFD would be a terrific way

to help raise awareness about a major health issue.
