Guest guest
Thank you very much, Heather from California To answer your question, the nodule growing was not rather quickly, according to my therapist, who said a post-hemithyroidectomy recurrence or a cancer can be diagnosed only after the required tests. You are right about the fact that fast growing thyroid can be evident of cancer, I’ve read the same opinions. Curiously, five years ago, before having the left hemithyroidectomy, in a matter of seconds I had a thyroid with the size of a tennis ball. The biopsy and the operation itself proved that the tumor was benign. So, these things are a bit too complicated, maybe even for specialists, because like yourself said, you’ve got the cancer developed INSIDE not outside the thyroid, as in most cases. By the way, how do you feel right now, what is your treatment, medication, diet, etc? We should stay in touch, Cristian --- heather k <heather_feather32 wrote: > I'm Heather from California and I'm a thyroid cancer > survivor as of Jan. 2003. > My tumor was 7 mm. encapsulated.
