Guest guest
Hello, all. I've been here for awhile, am enjoying the posts. Am wondering about ways to bring T3 levels up in the thyroid. My thyroid is pretty shot, and I know not to use something like synthroid that only addresses T4, but are there any alternatives to something like armour thyroid, or do I need to have the prescription until the levels normalize and then use something (what) for maintenance. I have used the Young Living thyroid supplements, but they don't seem to be quite doing enough. Thank you, Analise _______________ Fast. Reliable. Get MSN 9 Dial-up - 3 months for the price of 1! Guest guest
Do you know anything about reflexology? I have used it to heal thyroid problems. There are reflexes in the palm of the hand, going up and down on the palm at the base of the thumb. Press a regular #2 pencil with an eraser into it and see if you can find any sore spots. I am sure you will find some. If you do, press the pencil eraser into the spots that hurt and hold the pressure for 7 seconds, let up on the pressure and then hold down the pressure again for another 7 seconds. You can use this in sets of three. Make sure you do both hands so that there is balance in the body. Drink some water after you get done to make sure you flush the toxins out of your body. In fact, if you have any spots on your hands or feet that are sore when either pressing into them or not, rub or press them out. If you have been having thyroid problems for awhile, it will take some time to get them all worked out but it will start working right away, just keep at it until you can heal it and watch it in the future, if you are prone to having problems with it, once you get it healed you may have to do some maintenance pressing to keep it healthy. If you need me to explain this better or differently, let me know. Good luck...Mama RE: Thyroid issues Hello, all. I've been here for awhile, am enjoying the posts. Guest guest
15.3.2004 i had posted a writeup on reducing blood pressure by balancing hara & throat chakra. if you see the diagram of energy shown in number of books, you will find that universal energy is drawn from hara chakra from front , goes to back, enters throat from back, coming out from front and entering lower parts of body. since thyroid problems are in throat, to me, it appears the blockage not only in the chakra but some small meridians going to certain places is causing the problem. i did not have chance to heal thyroid problem. but the energy pattern says that there is a very good chance of relief if both these chakras are balanced. you can try it and if you get good results, share. d.k.kothari - nora lawton Sunday, March 14, 2004 6:47 PM RE: RE: Thyroid issues i am also intrested in any answers re.thyroid have been put on thyrozine but took myself off have swelling on side of neck grandaughter 12 yrs.old also has thyroid .ty

It was the worst feeling I have ever had. I was on Synthroid for almost a year, before, finding the right herb/vitamin combination. I take Sea Vegetation vitamins now, and have not been on medication for over 4 years. Sea Vegetation is rich in Iodine(plus the ones I take are organic). I recently had a physical, for a life insurance policy, and did not check off that I had a thyroid problem. But when, the nurse asked me, had I had any disorders in the last 5 years, I was honest, and told her about it . To make a long story short, she tested me for it, and my blood test came back negative for the disorder. I know I was not cured, but at least it's dormant. And, I feel better, than I did before I had the disorder. I will gladly share with you, what I am taking, for my thyroid, if you like. Just e- mail me. Winona > Analise > > _______________ > Fast. Guest guest
I started out on sea vegetation only at 1st, but when that did not give me enough energy(as I have Hypo, not hyper) I started taking a multiple vitamin, and chlorophyll. I began to feel better, after about 1 month. After, about 6 months, I felt great. The multiple I am on is the Futura 200, and I take the liquid chlorophyll. They have lots of other multiples, but the Futura has more sea vegetation than any of the other ones. You can visit them online at: www.wachters.com; mention code 9405 or put alternative answers in the remarks, they will give a discount(I already asked) or call them at 800 682-7100, they will answer any questions you have.
