Guest guest
help!! I have been having dizzy spells! I get lightheaded, dizzy, and sometimes my tummy gets upset. It just started and I don't know why. I took some methazine and it helps sometimes, but I'm not thrilled at the idea of adding another medication to my daily list. My ear was hurting and I have occationally found blood in it. If anyone has any ideas of what could help please email me at tazzerray2004. thanks yall

Guest guest
Iknow nothing about your age, weight, blood pressure, medications etc but to me,with blood in your ear it sounds like you have an infection in your middle ear which could cause both a nausea and dizziness.a quick look in your ear with and otoscope would give you and answer.Go to your local health dept-they should look at no charge to you.Good luck, sincerely Dr John D. Guest guest
Have your ears checked...you could be having middle ear infections or fluid build up. These things can cause " dizziness " . Anytime your ear hurts and you then find blood (or fluid discharge)in it you should consult your primary healthcare provider. Does the dizziness occur most frequently whenever you change positions? Like going from lying on the bed to sitting or from sitting to standing? If so...check your bloodpressure. To do this you will need to check it when lying down, immediately after sitting up and then again immediately after standing (you will need someone to help you do these readings). If your pressure drops appreciably during these position changes it can make you dizzy and lightheaded. If it does....consult your primay healthcare provider. Also, if it does drop during these movements....take your time when changing positions...move slowly and give your body time to adjust to the new position. Hope this helps, Pixi , " tazzerray2004 " <tazzerray2004> wrote: > help!! I have been having dizzy spells! I get lightheaded, dizzy, and > sometimes my tummy gets upset. Guest guest
This is serious, and needs a professional! Your spells may come from ear trouble. One thing you can do: firmly pinch the web between the ring finger and the middle finger. This will work the reflex of your inner ear. Won't harm if it won't help. Please DO seek professional help! Guest guest
Dear friends in Spirit, I must chuckle at the practical wisdom of Dr. Son in choosing to apply Occam's Razor to this situation. Here, we have a man well educated in many facets of both allopathic and complimentary medicine who is wise enough to recognize that all healing modalities have their place. Oftentimes the most obvious somehow hides itself where it is not self evident. Let us say for a moment that we have a dictionary and need to find the meaning of a word. We could use the dictionary or we could purchase a computer, learn to use the internet and then initiate a Google search for the meaning of the word. Dictionaries most definitely have their place in this world as does the local health department. It is neither a defeat to examine the options of allopathic medicine nor a victory to examine those of alternative medicine. Rather, it is common sense to fully avail oneself of all options in order that one may allow one's heart, not one's concept of this or that, to determine the right course of action for you. He who is neither polarized towards this or that is entering into the state of being himself.
