Guest guest Posted January 16, 2004 Report Share Posted January 16, 2004 hi there, i m writing to this group so that somebody could help me or some advice. my problem started after my delivery i had postdated delivery it was ten days late when my baby had diff. in coming out they used forceps.immediately after she came out i lost a lot of blood, my blood count fell frm 11 to 5.they said shld wait for a day otherwise need blood transfusion afetr a day they decided shld under go blood tranfusion immediately after that i felt heavyness in my chest area when they did eeg thay found out im in cardiac failure was in ICU for night had breathlessness,bloody sputum.morning they said heart is normal.was on antibiotic .i was coughing up blood,they couldnt diagnose did all my inv. later thay said im having pneumonia was treated for pneumonia.every month i have to undergo x ray..almost 9 xrays have been done. but now even after a year no i feel heaviness in my chest sometime .coughing up blood is same but little better after antibiotic.but it is still there.and i always get cough as soon as lying down. and continuous cold cough cant take cold or sour things.is anybody who could help me. anytherapy im ready.plzzz reply. sami. There is so much more that anyone who attempted to treat you would need to know. One piece of advice I will give - get another doctor. Find a second opinion. If the doctor you are seeing now cannot diagnose and treat your problem successfully, its time to search for another. I will keep you in my prayers. Please also ask your doctor to tell you from where the blood is coming, the throat or lungs, and the condition of your lungs. Check out for anemia (Haemoglobin count of the blood) too.
