Guest guest
Sue said >>where I feel NAHA and all the other organizations have fallen short. One many years old White Paper is not enough.>> maybe you have not looked lately but there is more than one White Paper out now; I have recently published 2 articles on what works for scoliosis and why RDT does not and is dangerous, but not being a member you would not have gotten the e-journals or notice. (.....just found out the naha site update is behind due to the move of home office to NC, there is a backlog of web work waiting to be put up, which clears a lot of confusion earlier- the site is being worked on now, hopefully that paper will be up soon) >>>Press releases should be sent out saying that NAHA is collecting information on injuries, press releases should be sent out with updates on the quantity of reports, press releases should be sent out saying this student is working on a report, then of course press releases should be sent out once the actual report is done. >> Press releases go out all the time!!! several a week in fact on all sorts of happenings, and this information on the collection of injuries has gone out long ago- but of course not being a member you wouldnt get them. Sometimes I put them on here, the collection release came out over a year ago here.... >Where are the articles about this in national magazines? > FEEL FREE TO WRITE ONE- anyone can put articles out, so instead of whining, do something Sue, you have an amazing talent for writing, go for it! >>Why does every massage licensing board not have this information available to give to every new massage therapist?>> Again, why not bring to their attention!!! There have been some articles in the massage journals; Shellie Enteen writes a column several times a year in Massage Today on undiluted use, rdt, etc for example....... >But I still care and I still want the truth about Young Living to be in the hands of every person buying essential oils or laying down on the table for a massage.>> and so do I, all it takes is awareness and publicity and I am doing what I can through the naha site, journal, papers on line- I think the place to get to is the Spa owners who dont realize they could face a lawsuit for injury, so any articles for those mags gets a gold star it is up to each one of us to tackle what is in our reach to help spread the word, so what can you do??? (besides come on here and tell us what should be done).....real easy to sit back and make judgemental comments, harder to really do something about it.
