Guest guest
Dear BuffyWonder, Where is everybody? Probably out doing fairs, carnivals, etc. This is October and this is my busiest month of the year followed by September and part of November. This is when I sell my product at different events. I haven't posted much for the past few months because I have been busy. Today is the first off day that I have had on a weekend in several months and I have enjoying staying home and watching the Dallas Cowboys play football. Then I have to go to the grocery store. What Joy! I didn't realize how much I missed fairs, etc. until I got back into working them. The people are wonderful and the interaction keeps me on line with the right products for people. Take care and have a wonderful week! Guest guest
Hey Buffy and All, I'm still doing my thing! Making my little aroma butters and dealing with all the changes going on in industry right now (mostly supply issues and unreal price increases on products). I think most of my customers will be just fine. And I'm busy marring all the people that want and deserve to get married. We have a cruel group here in California trying to take rights away from some of my couples. Can you imagine a law that makes it illegal to marry left handed people? (Cause everyone knows the devil lives in the left side) Well this one is just as odd and hurts people that are born a certain way. So I'm busy fighting against that (No on 8 - please make a donation http://www.noon8.com). Also, I Finally broke down and...did the last AT thing I had not done yet... ....I Made Soap! I made unscented milk cold process soap. My first try, and it's worked out nicely. Next I'm going to try a little ylang and spearmint in some new soap. Cheers, David Roman Daniels
Guest guest
I kind of wondered where everybody has been too. But figured - Schools are back in the swing and people get real busy when their kids are involved. And I'm sure there are many like us - we are wrapping up our 'outdoor' projects before the snow begins to fly. And not to mention keeping on working on projects for our business and getting ready for the holidays that are approaching very quickly! Got to get back to editing and updating our website - trying to make it more user friendly and giving it a little facelift!! Don't forget folks - take a little time for yourself too. Guest guest
I would love to try making soap, but I am a little unsure how I would do. I do remember my grandmother used to make plain old strong lye soap. --\ ------------- Designer at Scrapbook-Bytes http://www.takeapick.com/2IH *Some people only dream of angels; we held one in our arms.* Remembering Jacob March 8 - 9, 1996 Our Angel: http://sids-network.org/fp/jacob.htm - " David Roman " <Too_hats <ATFE2 > Tuesday, October 21, 2008 12:08 PM [ATFE2] Re: Where is everybody? > Hey Buffy and All, > > I'm still doing my thing! Guest guest
You would do fine. I messed around a whole year before I finally got nerve to make my first batch. I searched the internet and printed off how to do it and still it took a year for me to get nerve to make any. Silly but so very true. Guest guest
hi david, Just popped in to take a look and see there is a little group activity. Like to take up something you said >Can you imagine a law that makes it illegal to marry left handed >people? In my opinion marriage should be illegal for anyone:) It's a quaint outdated idea that should be consigned to the dark ages. Guest guest
Stacey, Sweet child, Where on earth do you find these things???? Martin, Sometimes marriage works.....might take a few goes, but when it works it's great. Rather like buying a pair of shoes I guess, you go for the bright red shiny sparkly shoes, they look great, but hurt like hell, and then you realise that well made comfortable shoes are the go........and......still waters run deep. Guest guest
Hi everybody, My 2 cents - still water ca be very boring. Sometimes, picking up those shiny shoes gives a little sparkle to your life...for a short time. But that time remains memorable. On the other hand...beying with someone boring ...man, that can be a lifetime torture! Mr. Watt, I love your website. have a nice day you ALL Lavi ATFE2: d.j.moss: Tue, 28 Oct 2008 05:08:15 +0000[ATFE2] Re: Where is everybody? Guest guest
Speaking of marriage.... Chris and I got married! After 13 years, we took the risk. Besides, I'll jump at any chance for new jewelry! ;-) Trish Ross Midwives on Missions of Service www.globalmidwives.org

" Martin, I do have to warn you. The last guy that told me that was very adamant that he would NEVER get married - didn't believe in it - thought it was wrong, antiquated, about making people property, etc. I told him that he had every right to get married, and that if he bigoted family refused to show up, I would support him, and even give him away if necessary. Well, that was many years ago, and this summer he asked if I would marry him to his beloved - and we had a touching ceremony on the beach. He gave me permission to tease him after the ceremony - cause he knew I would anyway :-) So what's the colour of your cake? (I'll try to match it with my tie.) And AT: I made my 2nd batch of shea butter and milk soap. This time I added a little spearmint tea and eo's of Spearmint and Ylang. It smells nice, can't wait till its finished curing. Guest guest
I'm with Martin. The only thing one needs a man for is to procreate... so do it and then just let go. Done it twice, ain't worth the time, trouble or hassel. Course I've tried it twice and both times sucked so perhaps my perspective is a bit different from the romantics here. LOL! Guest guest
Martin--I am so happy Stacey was able to find you a new love. Sadly, your first guinea pig crush, Bella, recently went on to that big guinea pig playground in the sky. Are you sure you won't marry your new love? Surely you do not want her to spend the rest of her 5 years as a guinea pig concubine? ;-) --\ ------------- Designer at Scrapbook-Bytes http://www.takeapick.com/2IH *Some people only dream of angels; we held one in our arms.* Remembering Jacob March 8 - 9, 1996 Our Angel: http://sids-network.org/fp/jacob.htm - " Martin Watt " <aromamedical <ATFE2 > Tuesday, October 28, 2008 11:06 AM [ATFE2] Re: Where is everybody? > >http://www.flickr.com/photos/chemiq81/183955977/ > Oh wow think I am in love. Guest guest
I'm with Martin too and I'm married. I love my husband dearly and all, but we dont' seek to stifle one another. I only got married so he could have health insurance at my job. Chaeya ATFE2 , " Kathleen Petrides " <Beadhussy wrote: > > I'm with Martin.
