Breastfeeding, of course is so much better, but not every client is doing so, some even have real reasons they cant (adoption being top of my list). Anyway, in compassionate concern, we need to stay educated. Especially good approach as to arrange for long term surrogate nursings is a daunting consideration; first week much easier to think about and more likely to happen. I would expect that is also part of the role of the traditional Ayurvedic use in INdia and Nepal of a small amount as linctus of ghee (and raw honey and few grains of calamus or brushing of gold, though these are especially used as first immunization).
