Hi Adrienne!

Great to hear from you, and thanks for getting the ball rolling as

well as being on the lookout!

So the above are all names for that same resin we know is good for

knitting the connective tissues, when properly prepared. You are

right, the ground form will soak up so much ghee and still need to be

ground again when it has been sauteed and puffed up, (I have tried it

this way, a mess tho I'd love to hear other uses) best to stick with

the resin chunks. I've found great access but not online - has to be

by phone from an indian foods store in Atlanta called Cherian's.

(404) 299-0842.

Cherian's carries a HUGE array of stuff, by the way, and if you

aren't finding something organic anyway at Whole Foods or whatever

other source, they are excellent prices. Almost all their things get

shipped directly from India, sans middlemen, except for some flours

which come from House of Spices then thru them. So, like split

hulled mung last month was on sale several pounds for 2 dollars (all

pulses, I think). They also carry ayurvedic practitioner Dr. John

Douillard's favorite chyavan prash by Dabur at a reasonable price

(not toospicy, not cooked honey, good immune tonic).

Are you getting to use your ayurvedic lore much? PS, I give

permission for the postpartum foods list to be posted on your doula

site, as per my post in respoinse to Rebeccas' note. See her post

wiht mine, next.

Blessings,

Martha
