Himali: Are you anywhere near Barrington, IL? I have a name of a postpartum

doula there.

As a lactation consultant I may be able to help with the itchy nipple question

if I had more details, and where you are in the pregnancy, any more history.

Thanks for the reply. Memphis is about 9 hours drive from Chicago, IL.

I am due on the Oct 14th. And I have been itching as long as I have

been pregnant. This is my second child.

Thanks

could you possibly have a yeast infection going on? Been on antibiotics?

clean and dry, antifungals, ask your doctor.

There is a disease, the name of which escapes me, where the mom's skin in

general itches throughout the pregnancy and the disease disappears soon

after the pregnancy is over, I assume you have told your dr. about this. As

I recall allopathic didn't have much to offer this condition. Otherwise, I

don't know what would cause your nipples to itch. Keep them clean and dry,

put them in the sunshine if possible, rinse with a vinegar solution and

dispense with all other ointments, you may be causing an allergic reaction.

The Montgomery's Glands do a good enough job of providing natural

lubrication that they don't need to be prepared for nursing.

Hello Everyone I am new to the group...I am a Reiki practitioner and

would like to further my alternative healing education. I am extremely

interested in acupuncture and have been searching online for schools in

my area..I live in Michigan and the only school I have come across in

my search is the Blue Heron Accademy and that would be a 2 1/2 hour

drive for me..Does anyone know of any other teaching venues for

acupuncture in Michigan???
