Guest guest
You guys... you are way ahead of me. I planned to ask if anyone had a link to " Brain Gym " today, as someone referenced it in my class this weekend and I was curious. Thanks for reading my mind, Alain. Guest guest
I don't have a link to it but we may carry the book (and related materials) at our online bookstore. Go to website http://www.idea-seminars.com and visit the ONLINE STORE. I have utilized these wonderful exercise in workshops and programs for many years. Very worthwhile. Enjoy! Definitely, something pulled me out, as you have seen i have not been posting for a long time, for lack of time. I was surprised myself ;-) Here go another number of links. THE oficial site www.braingym.org I highly recomend their FAQ and bookstore page. You'll find most BG related books there, not to say all of them (there's another link below that has more, bgresource.html). I recomend you " smart moves " by Carla Hannaford as well as the introductory book " Switching On " by Paul Dennison. Very interesting stuff. (to be frank with you, i haven't read many more than these... but they are really, really interesting, they brought me a whole new outlook on my body, my self, teaching, learning, moving, ...) THE non-oficial latinamerican page, in construction (made by you should guess who (grin)) (more testimonies than the oficial site! ;-) (in spanish) http://gim_cerebral.tripod.com A number of loose links, with some interesting articles, exercises, etc... None is as good as the oficial site, especially for the faqs, but they can be interresant until you get to have the books or be in a seminar. Again, i highly recomend BG. I introduced it at my daughter's school and it was so good that we made this instructor come from the US (in may), and now all the teachers are using the basic exercises in the classrooms! It's easy to do, easy to learn, easy to introduce in all environments (has a scientific background that makes it easier to introduce to most folks with no introduction or interest into energy/eastern/holistic/ " however you call it " stuff)... and it makes wonders. the links, (finally): (no special order nor quality, they are just taken " as is " from my bookmark file) (some of them are more related to NFL than BG, sorry) http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/7407/braingym.htm http://members.aol.com/braingym/bgresource.html http://www.naturalhealth.co.za/therapy/the_233.html http://www.mjwagner.com/ http://www.jetlink.net/~cecilia/index.html http://alaike.lcc.hawaii.edu/languagearts/AboutBG.html http://www.brightfuture.com/changeology/ http://www.learningdisability.com/not.htm http://totalfitness.net/brain_gym.html http://www.excel-ability.com/Models/EduK.html http://www.londonhealth.co.uk/kinesiologyfederation.asp http://home.golden.net/~star2600/braingym.htm http://www.learning-nlf.org/ http://www.learning-nlf.org/agile/ http://jobs.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/interact/longterm/wes/guests/teacher.h tm http://www.memcel.com.ar/ http://alaike.lcc.hawaii.edu/trimble/ Enjoy.
