Guest guest
Hi, My name is Sharon. I have been on a juicing diet forthe past 10 mo. I have been following the advice and program of a naturopath who lives a couple of hrs from here. I have a lot of confidence in this man, but the one thing lacking in this program is support. I feel like I'm living in ablack hole here because Idon't have any idea what is normal for the progress of this program and he is usually so vague. I am hoping some of you may be able to help me....esp if you have gone thru this. I started out looking for a betterway to tx my thyroid disease. Iam very over weight and had become very out of shape due to the effects of my untreated thyroid problems. I have been taking suppliments and juicing for 10 mo now. I have lost 45 lbs and am in much better spirits for the most part. I am still taking Synthroid for my thyroid disease. My main complaint is the generalized pain I have been having the past couple of months. Any attempt at strenous physical exercise makes this much worse. We have a farm and i have expanded the gardens a lot this yr. I feel the pain is more in muscles then joints. I can never acheive tone in my muscles..just more pain. I do the coffee enemas everyday as ordered. I am becoming discouraged and worried about this pain. He tells me it is due to toxins in my muscles. Like I said...I do a lot of juicing. Using 100% organic is not an option...and I have discussed this with him too..so he is aware of it. Has anyone else been down this road? Guest guest
Sharon, I definitely have experienced the same pain as you. I have lupus and also do juicing. I think the reason why you're having the pain is that the juice is extracting the toxins from your cells and you need to expell them from your body and assist your liver in doing so. I follow the Gerson Therapy www.gerson.org which consists of juicing, diet, and coffee enemas. I know the latter sounds strange (it definitely did to me!), but Dr. Gerson found the scientific reason why they work. If I don't do 2 of those a day, I have incredible muscle pains. Check out the website, it has very good information on this. Good luck, Amelia On Behalf Of maryhobbs3Friday, May 19, 2006 11:31 AM Subject: Detoxing diets. Hi, My name is Sharon.
