Try topical MSM with Glucosimine depending on the type of arthritis. My sister had a flare up of rheumitoid arthritis years ago. Doctors told her to get ready for the pain and suffering for the rest of her life. She was in Jamacia a few months later and an old woman laughed did something with Lye and a wild lime which was baked, cored and slid over the bad fingers. She has never had a problem since. Those would work better for you, but here are a few stones i know are for protection and wards. Hematite Garnet Black onyx Snow Flake Obsidian Red Jasper Hematite is best when you wear it, but the others may be options for you. Just look and see what fits you. Guest guest
Hello.... My name is Jandara... I just recently joined the group and I'm looking for ideas to help my son. His name is Jesse and he's eight years old. For the past several months he's been having stomach aches on an almost daily basis... the doctor that I took him too says that it's constipation... I'm wondering what types of foods we should avoid .... he drinks a lot of milk... I wonder if the milk might be the problem... I'm just looking for ideas.... hate to see the little guy with a stomach ache every day. Jandara
Guest guest
He's probably allergic to milk. That happens to me when I drink it. It also is known for causing constipation. Try switching to oat milk or almond milk and see what happens. For calcium, you can give him fortified orange juice. Guest guest
Definitely he needs to try to avoid wheat and milk. Those are the two main digestive complaint culprits. Other food allergies might be present but wheat and milk are the most common. There are wheat and milk in many things you might think that they are not in. Foods that are not overly processed are the best. Kel --- Amelia Gerlach <ameliagerlach wrote: > He's probably allergic to milk. That happens to me > when I drink it. Guest guest
I agree with Kelly and Amelia about the milk. Cut it out and see what happens. If that doesn't help cut the wheat products. Do you know for a fact that he is constipated? At 8 yrs old if he isn't going once or twice a day then he definately has a problem here. Do you know his blood type? Guest guest
Here is a link to a web site from where you can order a blood test to determine food allergies and other chemical sensitivities. You don't need a doctor's prescription and they use reputable labs in your city (same as a doctor would). A blood test is the only accurate way to determine food allergies. Skin tests are not reliable. Here it is: http://www.directlabs.com/tests.php The test you want to order is the Alcat Allergy test. To find out more about Alcat, go to their website: www.alcat.com The tests are not cheap, but could be very worthwhile. Guest guest
I want to mention that you can also order directly from alcat.com and you can get the individual allergy panels, such as food, chemicals, etc. and it can be a lot cheaper that way. He has a bowel movement at least once a day though.... I don't understand how he can be constipated if he goes every day..but this is what they say is wrong. They gave him a powder type laxative to take...that you mix with juice . He's been taking that once a day but now he has diarhhea so I"ve stopped that. Guest guest
Soy should never ever be given to children under any circumstances. They are not designed to digest and process the estrogens. Two extremely carcinogenic substances known as lysinoalanine and nitrosamines are found in soy products that are processed under high heat. Always avoid soy products that have been processed this way. It has been shown in many studies that the phytic acid in soy interferes with the absorption of calcium, magnesium, copper, iron, and zinc, and that high phytic diets cause growth problems in children. Soy was also found to cause goiter or the enlargement of the thyroid gland in infants! JanNitz <jandara wrote: Thanks.. I"ll try that...what about soy milk? Do you think that would be ok? His name is Jesse and he's eight years old. For the past several months he's been having stomach aches on an almost daily basis... the doctor that I took him too says that it's constipation... I'm wondering what types of foods we should avoid .... he drinks a lot of milk... I wonder if the milk might be the problem... I'm just looking for ideas.... hate to see the little guy with a stomach ache every day. Jandara
