Guest guest
I dislocated my kneecap and tore the meniscus (cartilage) 4 weeks ago. I'm looking at surgery shortly, and am wondering if anyone has any alternative ideas for pain relief and such. AngPeople who say they sleep like a baby usually don't have one. Leo J. The homeopathic remedy Arnica Montana, in a 12x potency would be excellent taken just before and then after surgery. As well, making sure your immune system is tuned up too would be good. Being in the hospital always exposes one to diseases which are good to avoid. If you can, I'd research taking things like Echinacea and astragalus for the week before the surgery. But be sure to discuss this with your doctor, as some herbs can interfere with blood clotting and the like, and you don't want to have to postpone because you've taken an herb that's a no-no (nor have blood clotting troubles!) Guest guest
Hi, Ang Sorry to hear about your injury. I recommend dosing up on MSM and Tahitian Noni juice now and during your recovery. These products helped tremendously last year for me after breaking my arm, and for a friend that broke her foot. Guest guest
Hi Ang. After 15 operations on both of my Knees (I had them both done again on Feb 18) I have found that Crystal therapy has helped greatly. I had at least 10 of them before I found out about Crystals & I wish I had known about them before. Using Hematite or Magnetite on the knees under bandages is like having magnetic field therapy, It helped me with the pain & swelling, I also have a Sugilite wand with magnetite in it & I used it in hospital & it took away a really nasty stabbing pain that the pethadine didn't. I hope this helps. Love & Light.
