Newbie and Reiki Attunement question

Hi all,

 

Wow! I see I'm in amongst a huge influx of newbies. That's great! I'm

Amy. I'm 24, live in the Dandenongs in Melbourne, Aust with my hubby

and two dogs. I was diagnosed with CFS/Fibromyalgia at age 10 but

have been ill much longer. At present, I have been in this 'bout' of

illness for over two years. I am mostly bedridden and housebound.

I have been 'different' since I was a child. Hard to explain, I

guess 'psychic' is the closest word. I feel and see and sense things

that others don't.

 

I spend most of my time learning about natural healing. I practise

meditation and relaxation daily, I have started using crystals for

relief of certain symptoms (although I still have much to learn). In

Feb I am hoping to start a course in Astrology. I have a wonderful

counsellor who has been pivotal in helping me learn about the

spiritual side of things. We do a lot of dream work together and this

has helped me immensely. I also have a nurse friend who is also a

reflexologist and practises reiki. I see her once-twice a week and it

is my only form of pain relief (only one I've tried that works).

 

I have a question I wondered if any of you could help me with.

Does anyone know of a reiki master in Melbourne who would be willing

to teach me attunement in my home as I am unable to travel??

I would love to learn reiki. I know it's there. I can sometimes feel

the heat in my hands but I can't release it to other parts of the

body.
