Guest guest
I just had a front tooth pulled on Tuesday. Stop taking the pain killers to see how you feel then. You will be able to tell how the tooth feels when there isn't anything else affecting it. Do you have some sea salt. Rinse with warm water and salt. Salt is wonderful for killing bacteria/ Also tea tree oil is good. Just a couple of drops in water. The taste is not so good, but not as bad as the pain. Of you might be able to go to the health food store and get a mouthwash with it in it. The pain killers will make you feel "Doopy". Bonnie - The Jolley's Friday, March 15, 2002 1:05 PM Tooth Extraction Hi all, I am new here. My name is Regina. I have been lurky for a few weeks now and learning interesting things. I have a few different health problems that I am working on with a Natropathic doctor. But right now what I am working on is my tooth. I just had it pulled on Weds and today I feel kinda yucky. I don't know if it is from the pain killers or the infection. I am taking Myrrh, Echeciha/Goldenseal and Colodial Silver. I am worried that this infection is not effected by the Echencia/Goldenseal because I have been using that for so long to keep the infection down before having the tooth pulled.. About three years on and off. Is there anything else I should be using for this? Thanks! Guest guest
Thanks.. I got off the pain killers. Only had to take Advil once yesterday. I was in bed all day yesterday, still feeling like I have a infection. The inside of my mouth feels fine. The area does not hurt. But I just have that "feeling" of infection. Like maybe it is still in my body. But I started taking the liquid echecia/goldenseal every two hours yesterday. Plus I did something I really did NOT want to do. I started taking Cipro, the antibiotic the dentist gave me He gave me 500 mg pills to take twice a day. I split those in half so only taking 250 mg twice a day. My body does not accept antibiotics very well. If I take them it has to be in small doses or I get a reaction as if I have been overdosed. I did okay with the two I took yesterday. I woke up a little nauseated last night. I have not taken one yet today. I will be soon. So far I feel okay but still not 100%. The dentist also prescribed a antibiotic mouth wash so I have been using that as well. Along with rinseing with the echencia/golden seal and myrrh. I do have tea tree oil.. maybe I will try that today.
