Thanks for the clarification. But BBC gives step motherly treatment

to age-old Holistic Health sciences and that should change.

You may consult me if you wish to put up a new site on Traditional

and Natural Medicine, which are being d to by almost

80% of the world population.

Infact, there is a gold mine (of business) if BBC were to do a

proper website and I can help as an Adviser if you are serious about it.

In the meantime, you should also remove in all fairness the website

misguiding people on pseudo science called modern medicine which

has been spreading diseases and deaths by millions for last 3 to 5

centuries and with every passing day becoming more and more sinister.

BBC Complaints [T2008021603VKS031Z3303673]

Dear Doctor Rebello

Thank you for your e-mail.

We note your concerns about the Complementary section of the BBC Health

website being disbanded.

The BBC Health website responds as follows:

" The decision to remove the complementary medicine area of the health

website was taken as part of a wider review of all the health content in

order to enable the BBC to focus its efforts on creating new and exciting

content.

In order to release resources for this redevelopment work, we're reviewing

existing content from an editorial and value-for-money perspective.

The complementary health section was incomplete and, therefore, not of a

satisfactory editorial standard.

It also represented a small proportion of traffic to the site but was

disproportionately time-consuming.

Therefore, the decision to take it down was based on a combination of

factors: how much work it needed to maintain to a high editorial standard,

how much this cost and how popular it was with site users.

We have already removed other sections of the health site and plan to

reduce or remove others.

We appreciate people are disappointed this area of the site has been

removed and apologise if the decision has appeared abrupt to site users or

inconvenienced other sites linking to BBC Health.

The BBC will continue to cover complementary health in other areas of its

output, such as TV, radio and news programmes, and may reassess its

complementary health content in future. "

Thank you for your feedback.

Regards

Jonathan Dunlop

A London contact informs me that based on the complaint of some phoney

quack busters you have deleted all information pertaining to CAM from

your website. If that is true then the BBC is obviously sold out to the

Medicine Mafia and ceases to be an independent source of information. In

that case you should rename BBC as Bogus Broadcasting Corporation like CNN

is now known as Corrupt News Network and WHO as WHOre.

For more details on scientific Holistic Healing modalities there are many

websites. To begin with you can have a look at my website :

www.healthwisdom.org and restore the CAM website immediately.
