Guest guest
Hi health Activists, Below is a an email from a New Jersey Activist asking for support of a Legislative proposal to study Mercury Amalgam Fillings in Dentistry. Hi Dr. Kesselman: from Are you familiar with origin of " Mad Hatter " ? Hats had been lined with Mercury, which caused behavioral manifestations in those people who wore those ha New Jersey State Senator Ronald Rice introduced Senate Bill 1187 on February 28, 2008, which would direct the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services to investigate mercury use in dental fillings and study health and occupational effects. Would you please take the time to contact your State Senator for support of this Bill? U.S. Congresswoman Diane Watson (D-Los Angeles, California) sponsored H.R. 2101 which would ban Mercury amalgam dental fillings. Merely typing " H.R. 2101 " into any internet search engine should produce this Bill for you to download and read. A few months ago, the United States Food and Drug Administration settled a lawsuit with the stipulation conceding that Mercury amalgam dental fillings may be dangerous to pregnant women and children. I believe I e-mailed you one version of this news item, perhaps from newsmax. As reported on _www.iaomt.org_ (http://www.iaomt.org) , on or around July 9, 2008, Congressman Dennis Kucinich and Congresswoman Diane Watson [sponsor of H.R. 2101] held a Subcommittee hearing on this Mercury amalgam dental fillings controversy. Congressman Dr. Dave Weldon, M.D., (R-Florida) sponsored a Bill which would ban Mercury from vaccines. His website shows he got an amendment of it through a Committee. _http://autismactioncoalition.org/federal.html_ (http://autismactioncoalition.org/federal.html) contains more legislative Bills on similar matters, including legislation in New York and Pennsylvania. Legislation is pending in The State of New Jersey which would establish " Conscientious Exemption " to mandatory vaccinations of children, namely, Senate Bill 1071/Assembly Bill 260. I would implore your support for these Bills, also. I remember voting at the Election Day polls AGAINST allocating money towards Autism research. Unfortunately, Governor Corzine went ahead and allocated money to Rutgers University, ostensibly for Autism research, despite our majority vote AGAINST the ballot measure!! [i have not heard ANYTHING about where the money went. It would not surprise me in this CORRUPT State if it the money went to the Football stadium instead of Autism research!!?]. The American Dental Association endorses Mercury amalgam dental fillings and Fluoride [www.fluoridealert.org]. In light of The State of New Jersey's sordid status as being among the highest Cancer rates and a high rate of Autism, wouldn't it be reasonable to expect Mercury to be a possible culprit or contributing factor? Would you please contact your State Senator for support of Senate Bill 1187, on Mercury amalgam dental fillings Bill, and the Senate Bill 1071/Assembly Bill 260 for a " Conscientious Exemption " to mandatory vaccinations of children?
