Dear Members,

While surfing, came across some useful information about IBD and

thought it would be nice to share.

IBD stands for Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Includes Crohn's Disease and

Ulcerative Colitis. To learn more about the symptoms and the main-

line treatment, please check out

http://www.ccfa.org/about/press/epidemiologyfacts

There are other factsheets too, including symptoms, treatment options

etc.

The site doesn't give any information about alternative treatment

options. I would invite members in USA and especially those who got

some benefit from alternative treatment options to write to

www.ccfa.org

With best wishes to all of you for a happy Christmas and a happy New

Year,

Swamy

Dear Members,

IBD stands for Irritable Bowel Disease. It is also called Irritable Bowel

Syndrome. I should have made it clear.

Dear Sarah,

You are absolutely correct. I am not normally wrong, but it is a pleasure to be corrected by a knowledgeable sufferer when I make a mistake. So, I again thank you.

Since you wrote that you are suffering from Crohn's, could you kindly share with the groups, about the treatment regimen being followed? Have you got benefit from any alternate treatments?

With best wishes for a good recovery in the coming year,

Swamy
