Can't say I've ever heard this about niacinamide, but I do know that Gourdin

helps rebuild things (you can find that on my website,

http://www.ayurvedicherbsforhealth.com) and Neem (ditto!) helps kill the

fungi which probably caused it in the first place. I also have heard many

testimonials about the Prostar vitamin complete - nutritional

supplementation is THE answer, in my opinion, to just about every organic

illness we can suffer (as opposed to trauma or genetic abnormalities) and

I've never seen a product as complete as this, nor as reasonably priced and

affordable. It is the basis for building, and then we add the wonderful

Ayurvedic products on top of it and have an absolutely WINNING COMBINATION!

Linda:

I use to use niacinamide and/or niacin. The difference between niacin and

niacinamide is niacin causes you to " blush " and get a " hot-seat " if you take

to much. I am not an authority on it, but I took both (at different times)

and can't say that I noticed any health benefits from either one. They are

part of the B-Complex group.

I had a friend over one time and we were eating. I gave him a 100mg tablet

of niacin and told him it would circulate his blood and cause him to blush.

We were kind of joking around and he told me, " this thing (the tablet) has

no effect on me. " I told him to take another tablet and he did. In about 5

minutes he was beat red. What was funny is that he kept on eating and

denying that the niacin was doing anything to him. Later, we both got a

laugh out of it.

I haven't taken niacinamide or niacin in years. I can't see where there is

any benefit from them.
