Guest guest
Got these from some lovely folks on another forum - and the advice is wonderful. Most of us just do not realize how much physical damage results from excess stress in our lives. Suffice it to say, though STRESS CAN KILL. Hope you all enjoy these ideas. Linda Hey Everybody! Here's some CHEAP ways we suggest to lower your stress level:* Rent the FUNNIEST videos/DVD's you can remember and sit back andLAUGH until you can't LAUGH anymore. Laughter releases endorphinswhich lower your blood pressure, calm your nerves and metabolizes bloodsugar! Here's some suggestions...old I LOVE LUCY shows, Home Alone 1and 2, Redd Skeleton videos, etc.* HUG your spouse, kids and/or pets for an extra long time! Give thathubby or wife a long bear hug and just relax! You'll be surprised howmuch better you'll feel.* PET your dog or cat (and not just a tap on their head). It not onlyrelaxes them and lowers their stress, it's a proven fact that it doesthe same for you. Studies also have proven that you'll live longer!* Take a 5-minute POWER BREAK outside in the fresh air EVERYDAY. Justclose your eyes and forget about everything. It'll amaze you how muchyour perspective on everything will change.* Take a HOT BATH in the evening before bed instead of a shower. Thewarmth and feeling of weightlessness will soothe you and improve yourcirculation!* Don't SWEAT the SMALL STUFF!!! Many things we allow to bother us,just REALLY don't matter and are not worth us getting so upset over.* And last but not least, PRAY. It doesn't have to be a long, eloquentprayer, just saying a few words to yourself or aloud will help you!!!....and remember....YOU are in CONTROL of your STRESS MANAGEMENT! SMILE!!! You CAN do it!!!!!!=====BRYAN & PAM CRABTREE(910) 583-3836 SERIOUS ABOUT YOUR HEALTH?www.AyurvedicHerbsForHealth.com
Guest guest
Nothing reduces my stress level better than a deep tissue massage on a Friday afternoon... The combination of the body work and the knowledge that I have the weekend coming up work wonders for me!! - Anna Linda Yates writes: > > Here's some CHEAP ways we suggest to lower your stress level: > > * Rent the FUNNIEST videos/DVD's you can remember and sit back and > LAUGH until you can't LAUGH anymore.
