Dear All,

First of all I want to introduce myself and the details of

my diesease. I am a Sri Lankan Tamil. I am now 26 years of age and

working as a software engineer in a company in Sri Lanka. I was

affected by polio myelitis since birth, and the muscles in my lower

limbs (mostly, the knee and the ankles) were wasted almost fully. In

1992, my parents brought me to India CMC (Christian Medical College),

vellore and there they made a small correction to straighten leg and

prescribed me a bilateral metal caliper shoes from the hips and two

arm crutches to support. After that we came back to Sri Lanka and

tried many Ayurvedic therapies (Sri Lanka also have well established

traditional therapies). They gave me, several kashayas made with

number of herbs, many medicinal concotions, choornas, external oils to

apply and ayurvedic tablets. We were continuously trying these for 6

years under several renowned medical practitioners, but none of these

gave any improvement at all.

If you know any good ayurveda treatment around India or Sri Lanka for

polio patients, pls help me and send the details of those places.

My personal email address,

titus.rakkesh

Yours sincerely,

Titus Rakkesh,

Colombo - 2,

Sri Lanka

I have read on the internet that garlic can cure polio. you may do your research

and see. Do not belittle the efficacy of these seemingly insignificant things.

These are so good and effective that I have written a book on home remedies.
