This training introduces the Massage Practitioner to traditional

principles which are then applied into individualized sessions with

clients. The techniques taught in this class involve using warm

herbalized massage oils for detoxification and rejuevenation of the

physical, emotional and mental body of the client.By attending this

course, students will be able to:

* Discuss basic principles of Ayurvedic Dosha Theory.

* List the indications and contraindications for application

* Explain the effects of Abhyanga on the body/mind/spirit

* List which oils and herbs shall be used in specific situations

* Create an ideal layout for an Abhyanga treatment room

* Perform the Abhyanga comfortably-2 and 4 handed

In order to maintain National or State Licensure in many states in the
