Guest guest
hello, just wondering what would be good for me to do to regulate my cycle. i have had ongoing problems since i had my child 12 years ago. first with my cycle i used to have very heavy bleeding that would last 28 days in a month.if i exercised, walked etc, it would start to bleed.i could not leave my house. i then had a dnc done.as per my doctors orders. he then put me on birth control pills for the last 8 years. i had to take the pills 2 x per day to stop the bleeding. i stopped taking the pills 4 years ago. since then i get 2 periods in a month.the first last 8 days very heavy then stops and then a few days later i get a period that last 3 days. then for 3- 4 months i get no periods at all and get feelings of vomiting and sickness and feel like i did when i was pregnant with my daughter. but no pregnancy. i feel exhausted .then i start my periods again. when i do get my periods i get fever and chills very bad i feel week and dizzy like iam losing alot of energy.bad cramps.and trouble staying awake.i also get lumps in my lower stomach under the skin, you cant see them , there is no redness ,you only just feel them. what is going on with my body and what can i do to fix it, diet, yoga? Obstetrical intervention in the childbirth through induction is known to cause hormonal imbalance, derailing the cycles. You were simply a victim of modern science. This has been discussed recently by author in another post in archives. You are most likely to have a childbirth with intervention. Weightgain during pregnancy may not have retured back to pre-pregnancy weight. Inadequate breast feeding thereafter also gives rise to such outcomes in many cases. > i then had a dnc done.as per my doctors orders. he then put me on > birth control pills for the last 8 years. i had to take the pills 2 x > per day to stop the bleeding. i stopped taking the pills 4 years ago. > > since then i get 2 periods in a month.the first last 8 days very > heavy then stops and then a few days later i get a period that last 3 > days. In message 14547, possible causes to your many other symptoms mentioned in earlier posts were traced to taking synthetic hormones (Post#13750), which is now confirmed by your present post. DNC is nothing less than a medical abortion. Anxiety, depression are fully correlated to abortion. > then for 3- 4 months i get no periods at all and get feelings of > vomiting and sickness and feel like i did when i was pregnant with my > daughter. but no pregnancy. i feel exhausted .then i start my periods > again. This is close to PCOS symptoms, again cause can be traced to hormonal imbalance, synthetic hormonal intervanetion. > when i do get my periods i get fever and chills very bad i feel week > and dizzy like iam losing alot of energy.bad cramps.and trouble > staying awake.i also get lumps in my lower stomach under the skin, > you cant see them , there is no redness ,you only just feel them. > what is going on with my body and what can i do to fix it, diet, yoga? These are typically APA (Anxiety, Panic) symptoms. Such people feel extreme symptoms during cycles. Feverish feeling but no or little temperature, sometimes extreme cold feeling, cramps, lumps, tightness, tingling, apparent knots, numbness......all are nervous system manifestations caused by blood circulation irregularities. Reasons are explained in message links given in post#14547. Do not think body as an automobile. Irregularities of cycles, nightmares, fears are all symptoms of a set of conditions in the body, not to be treated as different disease. Endocrine gland function and mood, behaviour are fully correlated. Thinking of these as different symptoms and bifurcating these two different querries is a reductionist approach, and will attract different opinions from vaidyas. Body, mind and spirit are all woven tightly into a single entity. You need to see a nearby vaidya. Remotely, vaidyas will think in apprently disconnected ways, since you post few symptoms at a time. A patient need to be looked into totality, since he carries all the history in his mind, body, spirit triad. Dr Bhate
Guest guest
Blue , u have given ur health information inadequate . Ur age , weight , height , diet are some important issues . The change in the menstrual system occurs mostly due to the disturbance of Vata Dosha . It should be balanced first .. The menorrhagia ( bleeding more than normal ) is a case of altered Pitta dosha , in which , the Pitta dosha increases & leads to the condition with the alteration of Vata too . The use of birth control pills does not have perfect answer to regularise the menstrual bleeding . Rather it enhances some hormone changes in the body leading to some another problem. I think , u should visit to nearest Ayurveda doctor to assess this problem in detail & have the treatment too . Dr . Gandhi S. C.
