Guest guest Posted November 1, 2007 Report Share Posted November 1, 2007 Thanks for asking informatiom regarding Parkinson Parkinson is a disease in which dopamine secreation in Substantia niagra [part of the brain] diminishes. According to Ayurveda any generation including Dopamine is due to Shukradhatu. [ Please visit my site www.astroayurvedalogy.com section Shukragata vyadhi] Due to Shukradhutu shinata i.e depression of dopamine secreation, Vata dosha becomes malafic. Hence the patient experiences tremors, Stiffness of limbs during movements, unable to perform fine movements etc. These signa and symptoms are due to malafic effect of Vata dosha. Tretment Even in Ayurveda it has been stated that a disease in a relation with Shukradhatu is Asadhya that is not curable. We treat Parkinson on two fronts First to restore Shukradhatu which could lead to proper secreation of Dopamine Second to normalised Vatadosha Activity which could lead to diminish tremors and other related symptoms. Frankly speeking Ayurvedic Medicines definately give some benifits to Parkinson's patients but it is a non curable disease. __________ i would like to know the cause of parkinsons disease according to ayurveda and its treatment. Panchakarma treatment with regular abhyanga and swedana has helped many.
