Professionals (ISAP) is organizing the first International Buyer –

Seller Meet on Herbal and Medicinal Plants at Arogya International on

October 28, 2007 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi . AYUSH, Ministry of

Health & Family Welfare is organizing Arogya International during

October 26-29, 2007. This daylong Buyer - Seller Meet & Conference

will be organized by ISAP with the major support of National

Medicinal Plant Board, Govt of India, Central Herbal Agro Marketing

Federation, Ayurveda Drug Manufacturers Association of India, Indian

Agribusiness Systems Private Limited (Agriwatch), Council of

Scientific and Industrial Research and International Competence Centr

e for Organic Agriculture.

 

We expect a huge participation from producers, exporters, importers,

traders, pharmaceutical industry representatives, NGOs, Government

agencies, International development agencies from India and abroad in

this event.

 

Ayurveda industry is growing very fast and it is expected to emerge

as a five trillion dollar industry by 2050. Acceptance & popularity

of this science is increasing all over the world. Prime objectives of

this meet include identifying growth opportunities with in the herbal

and medicinal plant products market and linking markets for

development of sustainable livelihood and identifying ways to make

these opportunities.
