H.pylori infection

A close friend of mine has contracted H.Pylori bacterial infection and is

suffering from it for about a week now (her blood test came back positive with

this just yesterday). Her fever keeps running high and other light-pain

symptoms as well. Doctor's put her on antibiotics now, but would really prefer

an ayurvedic/herbal/homeopathic/natural cure if possible.

Are there any recommendations/practices she can adopt to fight this off? How

does Tribhuvan kirti ras and sudarshan tablet work on this? Arogyavardhini?

Thank you for all the kindness

P.

Please provide detail history of the patient.

H.Pylori infection is generally treated as Amlapitta in Ayurveda.

Tikta rasatmak dravyas are used for treating it.

You can use Amruta(Tinospora cordifolia)satwa,Shatavari(asparagus

racemosus),Praval panchamrut or sutshekhar ras.

In panchakarma,Vaman is a treatment of choice.

H -pylori is a serious infection gandhaka rasayana

will kill germs as well as heal stomach ulcers.

The medicine prescribed here amirtha will work as a

general health promoter and won't kill the germ

sathavari is best in urino genital diseases

and nothing to do in digestive system.

praval panchamirtha works in vagus nerve action also

help enzyme secretion . may harden stools

of course good in strengthening stomach tissues.

so guduchi, and praval pnchamirtha could be used as

support medicines

A physician must produce fast and fool proof reults

slow progrss , round about ways such methds needs

improvemets

Dear Vidyasagar,

You have mentioned the various actions of Gandhaka Rasayan, Shatavari, Guduchi

and Praval Panchamrit in modern terms. Are these actions confirmed through

laboratory testings? Can you give the references thereof? Shatavari is a known

medicine for Amlapitta (Hyper-acidity) also besides being indicated in various

diseases , so how it can be sensible to limit the action of Shatavari only to

uro-genital diseases?

Moreover does Ayurveda realise H.Pylori? How could you co-relate germ theory

with Ayurvedic concepts?

I would earnestly request you to be more precise when you opine about Ayurvedic

remedies and not mislead the group, even unintentionally.
