Here is a copy of the email which I have sent this morning to the Editor of

Times of India, Bombay on Yoga for AIDS.

This letter is for the Urgent Attention of Mr. Derick B.D'Sa.

This has reference to your newsitem BABA RAMDEV CLAIMS YOGA CAN CURE AIDS.

(Times of India, Dec.20, page 17). Baba Ramdev is not making a tall claim. Infact,

there are several studies done on the subject. My book AIDS AND ALTERNATIVE

MEDICINE, first published in 2000 and now in its 4th Revised and Enlarged Edition has

a full chapter on YOGA AND AIDS (pages 73 to 81). A copy of the said book was given personally to Dr. Ambumani Ramadoss, by me at the XVI International AIDS Conference,

held in Toronto, in August 2006.Though he said that he would read and reply, he has not

done so till date.

My said book contains practically all the information (including politics of AIDS Racket) in detail.

Food be in your Medicine, this fact is totally sidelined. In MBBS course of 6 years there are hardly

two or three lectures on the subject and that too on the usual crap, carbohydrades, proteins,

vitamins and calories.)

But inspite of your Bachi Karkaria having the said book and having sent every edition to

Times of India for review or review article, it has not done the needful.

Like many donor-driven NGOs work to promote the wrong official paradigm on AIDS, the Times

of India too publishes only onesided and ignorant comments on AIDS. When will you present the other side?

Or as Mr. M.V.Kamath,Chairman Prasar Bharati, said at the Conclave 2006 held in Mangalore, "Newspapers are today selling products. News is a second priority.... Today many newspapers do not have editors; they have only marketing editors."

Mr. Derick B.D'Sa will you reply to this letter or prefer to keep quiet on this issue?
