Hi Hazel

Welcome to the list - hope you enjoy it. How useful to have a pharmacist

amongst

us.

I haven't tried any recipes for varicose veins in pregnancy, but the

vasoconstrictors that spring to mind are OK to use in pregnancy (in half dose):

lemon and cypress in a cream or vegetable oil and stroked on. Let me know if

you

have any success.

PS Funny how the list goes quiet sometimes. As for me, I've just taken a 9-5

job

after 20-odd years so have less time. Happy Easter everyone and Pesach too.

Such oils are fine to use in FULL DOSE (5% to 10% concentration) directly on

varicose veins during pregnancy. It is too small of a dose to be concerned

about any supossed toxicity during pregnancy...Such oils include: Cypress,

True Niaouli, Patchouli, Mastick, Lemon Eucalyptus and Calendula CO2

extract, to name a few.
