Guest guest
A while ago I said there was a book (didn't know the title) written by a Dr. (didn't know his name) who said prozac could be replaced with supplemental tryptophan, folic acid and copper. I just heard a replay of the interview and here are my disjointed and sketchy notes: The name of the book is " Ten Natural Treatments You Haven't Heard of Before " written by Dr. William Wong (sounded like Wong). 500 mg of tryptophan per 50 lbs. of body weight will put most people to sleep. Web site! He has a web site www.totalityofbeing.com Prozac uses the same serotonin over and over. Example, like running the same sheet of paper thru a copier over and over. After a while the sheet is a mess and can no longer be read. The old piece of serotonin the prozac uses gets ratty the same way. Tryptophan makes all new, fresh serotonin for the body to use. Truth about prozac will come out soon when patent runs out. Prozac company will not want to share sales with other companies, so they will say it's no good and come out with a new miracle drug for you to buy. The FDA denies they ever banned tryptophan. They claim it is only good for pets, babies and the elderly. No one else. If turkey does NOT make you sleepy, you need more serotonin. 5HTP is to tryptophan as a finger is to the whole hand. Won't fix serotonin deficiency. Buy tryptophan at Vita Ganza (??) in CA or Bios in AZ. Take 3-5 Wobenzyms three times a day. Well, that's not much, but at least it's the name of the book. And there are 9 more topics like this in it. Starris

Guest guest
Tryptophan seems very expensive. Is this due to the FDA ban? Anyone know an inexpensive pace online to buy L-Tryptophan?
