What was the supplement you took? Don't hold out. Namaste, Liz >> Hi Liz... It is a suppliment that has been designed to pattern the contents of healthy cells. The doctor that designed it (Dr. Kalogris) was doing research and noticed that the cells of people with disease lacked all of the components of healthy cells. He spent 10 years developing a nutritional product that contained everything that a cell needs to reproduce healthy cells with ALL of its components. He claims that God called him to this task, and he turned to God for answers when he'd hit a road block. After 10 years of developing a powdered soy-based suppliment, he named it Classic and was given a patent #4,737,364 for it by the FDA which catagorized it as a food rather than a suppliment because it is so balanced. He worked with Dr. Hastings to try to make it better tasting to market it to others after seeing what great health results that he and his friends were having. Prior to working with Dr. Kalogris, Dr. Hastings developed Emfamil Infant formula that is used to help nurture infants that can't breast feed and Ensure to help others with impaired abilities to eat solid food. He also worked with Weight Watchers to develop their soy products. With Dr. Kalogris, Dr. Hastings developed another powdered product with the same nutrients as the Classic, but is whey based instead of soy based. He named it NOW and also received a patent. I don't use that product and don't have the patent number for it. The two doctors formed a company in 1978 and called it Reliv. It is listed on the NASDAQ. They are using their products in feeding programs around the world. Dr. Kalogris' mission is to " nourish our world " . There is a foundation set up in his name that is used to provide a six month supply of their basic nutrition suppliments to those who can't afford them. All of their product come with a 30 day money back guarantee. Their website can be found at www.reliv.com and the doctors can be contacted directly by fax at 636-537-8910. I started with the Classic to build my cells and to find the energy I needed to get off the couch. I then added FibRestore (Patent #5,567,424) which is designed for digestive health when I started detoxing through my skin. Now, I'm using ProVantage too, because I don't think I'm getting enough protein from the foods I eat. I'm hoping that it will help to continue to increase my brain function. I don't see any patent #'s on the ProVantage. It must not be patented. I am going to post the ingredient lists from my labels because that information is not available at the web site. They would be glad to supply any information not on the website though if you fax the doctors and request it. Please note, that I'm not fond of the artificial flavors in the FibRestore or the ProVantage, but it is not in the Classic. For those that are cautious about their soy intake the Classic contains 7 grams of soy protein per scoop, but the NOW is whey-based and to my knowledge doesn't contain soy. I don't use that product and am not sure.
