Well actually, Frank, I was kind of hoping you would do this yourself.

Since you started the group you must have a personal interest in all this.

Dear Gail,

The reason that I started this group is that of most of the groups

that I found on the net either had

(1.) a hidden agenda of book sales, some product, or some program or

other.

or(2.) nice well run, well meaning groups, but with a narrow area of

discussion, who didn't permit much other discussion of other health

issues.

 

I have come to think that a lot of our collective ills are

nutritionaly related. So I came to believe that, if a person is

lacking enough in one area to suffer some disease, they could have

other disease as well in other areas, but would not see the

relationship or maybe not connect them at all.

 

If there was a place for all the people suffering from different

conditions could gather and that by cross pollinating their collective

experiences, they could really help each other in a way not available

as in the two examples given above.

bowel and liver/gallbladder cleanse will help in the

area of clearing your skin when your system is cleaned

out. I am sure enzymes could help but I don't know

enough about them myself. However this web site has

interesting information on weight loss for persons

with different body shapes. Check out Liverdoctor.com

Could you please tell me the substitution using olive oil. The main ones would

be wonderful, 1 cup, 1/2 cup, 1/4 cup. and for a Tablespoon. Thanks!

Fructose is supposedly a natural sweetener. couldn't prove it by me.

It actually drove my hubby's glucose levels sky high. And it was

recommended for him by an MD years ago for hypoglycemia. Now we use

organic Sucanat sugar, molasses or honey for baking. I find that I

need much less of these and they are actually more economical in the

long run.

It depends on what you are trying to do. For me, cutting out the

sweet stuff (other than fruit) was needed. I suspect they all jerk around

serotonin levels & that triggers more cravings. Stuff with a stronger

taste (like molasses) may be easier to control without severe bingeing than

straight sugar, but I personally would stay away from it.

honey. You'd be surprised how it sweetens even w/o the honey.

Molasses roots grow deepest...one reason why it has so much

potassium. It is very rich in many trace minerals and strengthens my

heart. I use at least two or three tsps daily in my teas, and that's

in addition to what I get in my baking! LOL

It might even make the chamomile tea more tasty. LOL

There's times when I take a tea like that that's not very palatable

and just add a spicier blend of teas just to get it down. With one of

those big mugs, it works very well.

Crystallized ginger makes a good tea also. Very yummy to the taste!.

that molasses was a partially refined by-product of the sugar industry made

from sugar cane or sugar beets, and contaned all the problems of plain white

sugar, but with other plant extracts added.
